GREEN ECONOMY
Abstract:
The article focuses on the development of students' communicative competence in the
context of the green economy. It highlights the growing demand for specialists who possess not
only environmental knowledge but also strong communication skills to promote sustainable
ideas, collaborate in interdisciplinary teams, and engage with diverse stakeholders. The study
identifies the main components of communicative competence—linguistic, sociolinguistic, and
pragmatic—as essential for the green transition. It also discusses educational strategies for
integrating environmental topics into communication training and presents examples of
successful practices in higher education. The article concludes with recommendations for
enhancing communicative competence as a key factor in preparing students for the challenges of
the green economy.

Communicative skills are critical for the effective promotion of a "green" economy. To develop
them, it is necessary to:
Include communication courses in curriculum;
Organize corporate trainings and advanced training programs focusing on environmental
communication;
Provide opportunities for the practical application of communication skills in the business

Conclusion
A green economy requires specialists who are able not only to develop sustainable technologies,
but also to effectively communicate their importance. Developing communication skills is an
important step towards an environmentally sustainable future. Integrating communication skills
into educational processes and professional activities will help accelerate the transition to a green
economy and ensure its successful functioning. To do this, it is necessary not only to develop
educational programs, but also to create conditions for the practical application of
