Abstract

Ushbu maqolada xalqlar o‘rtasidagi madaniy, ijtimoiy va siyosiy munosabatlarning til va tarjimada qanday aks etishi tahlil qilinadi. Har bir til o‘ziga xos ma’naviy meros va tafakkur tarzini aks ettirgan holda, tarjima jarayonida boshqa madaniyat bilan muloqotga kirishadi. Xalqaro aloqalar, migratsiya, diplomatiya va globallashuv jarayonlari til vositasida qanday kechayotgani, tarjimaning millatlararo muloqotdagi roli va uning to‘g‘riligiga ta’sir qiluvchi omillar o‘rganiladi. Shuningdek, tarjimada uchraydigan madaniy ekvivalentlik va yo‘qotishlar masalasi ham yoritilib, turli tillardagi kontseptlarning milliy o‘ziga xosligi va tarjima jarayonida qanday o‘zgarishi tahlil qilinadi.

В этой статье анализируется, как культурные, социальные и

политические отношения между народами отражаются в языке и переводе.

Каждый язык вступает в диалог с другой культурой в процессе перевода,

отражая свое духовное наследие и образ мышления. Изучается, как протекают

процессы международных отношений, миграции, дипломатии и глобализации

через язык, роль перевода в межнациональном общении и факторы, влияющие

на его правильность. Также освещается вопрос о культурной эквивалентности

и потерях, с которыми сталкивается перевод, анализируется национальная

Abstract:

This article examines how cultural, social and political relations

between nations are reflected in language and translation. In the process of

translation, each language engages in a dialogue with other cultures, reflecting its

own unique spiritual heritage and way of thinking. The article explores how

international relations, migration, diplomacy and globalization occur through

language, the role of translation in international communication, and the factors that

influence its accuracy. It also addresses the issue of cultural equivalence,

highlighting the challenges faced by translators and the losses inherent in translation.

Additionally, the article analyzes the transformation of national identities and

concepts during the translation process and their impact on international

communication.

The role of language and translation has always been significant in international

communication throughout human history. Translation serves as a crucial tool for

enhancing international cooperation in various fields, including culture, science,

politics, and economics,

by overcoming linguistic barriers.

Since ancient times,

translation has been instrumental in establishing diplomatic and scientific ties

between different countries and regions. For instance, through the

translation of Greek and Latin texts, scientific knowledge and

philosophies from the ancient world were disseminated to wider

audiences during the Renaissance.

In today's interconnected world,

language and translation

remain essential

components of international diplomacy, business negotiations,

cultural exchanges, and scientific collaboration. They facilitate communication

between diverse cultures and contribute to the advancement of knowledge and

understanding across borders.. International organizations such as the United

Nations and the European Union pay great attention to translation and interpretation

services in their activities. These organizations understand that translation is not just

about translating words from one language to another. It is also about considering

the cultural context, historical background, and communication style of the source

language.

Translation is seen as more than just an exchange of information. It is a crucial

factor in promoting international understanding and peace. This is because it helps

to bridge cultural gaps and facilitate communication between people from different

backgrounds. Linguistics plays a significant role in this process, as it helps to ensure

that the translation is accurate and appropriate for the target audience. Linguists

work closely with translators to ensure that the meaning of the original text is

preserved in the translated version.

For example

, in international agreements such

as the Paris Peace Agreement, translation services have facilitated clear and proper

dialogue between representatives of different cultures, contributing to diplomatic

relations. Additionally, through the translation of scientific journals, literary works,

and educational materials, new knowledge and ideas are shared around the world,

facilitating cultural exchange. Therefore, it is clear that language and translation play

an invaluable role in effectively organizing international

communication and increasing mutual understanding and

cooperation between people.

In addition, the Chinese language is gaining ground on the

global stage. This is closely linked to the rise of China's economic,

political, and cultural power. Thanks to the New Silk Road, China's influence has

increased significantly, and the Chinese language has become an important tool for

communication.

Confucius Institutes

are active in more than 140 countries,

promoting Chinese language education and cultural exchange. These institutions

teach not only the language, but also provide deep knowledge of Chinese culture,

literature, and history. This helps to strengthen the global importance of Chinese as

a language.

As China's economy and political influence continue to grow, more and more

universities and educational institutions include Chinese in their curriculum.. Today,

Chinese is an essential part of international trade, diplomacy, and scientific

collaboration, and its expansion has become increasingly significant from a cultural

and linguistic perspective. As China's economic and political influence continues to

grow, many universities and educational institutions have incorporated Chinese into

their curriculums. The expansion of Chinese is not only beneficial for

communication and understanding between countries, but it also contributes to the

preservation of cultural heritage and the development of linguistic diversity. The

increasing relevance of Chinese learning and translation processes highlights the

importance of mastering this language for future success in various fields.

Reflecting cultural differences in Chinese translation presents certain

challenges, as the language has a unique historical, cultural, and social background.

For example, short phrases commonly used in Chinese literature and daily language,

such as "chengyu", have a rich meaning and history. When translating these phrases

into other languages, it's important to consider not only their literal

meaning but also the cultural context. Translators often use methods

like providing additional explanations, analogies, or adapting

cultural symbols to maintain the cultural richness and content of the

original text. This becomes even more crucial with the growing

popularity of the Chinese language internationally and the expansion of its influence.

Translation is not just a means of sharing information, but also a crucial part of

fostering deep international understanding and cultural exchange.

Language and translation play a significant role not only in cultural and

political interactions, but also in economic cooperation.

In the field of trade and business, accurate and high-quality translation services

are essential for international companies to successfully deliver their products and

services to customers from different countries. It is crucial for each company to

accurately represent its brand image and the characteristics of its products in the

international market. Incorrect or inaccurate translations can lead to

misunderstandings and distrust among customers, damaging a company's reputation.

For example, if a company translates the phrase

"quality products at best

prices

" in its advertising campaign with errors, consumers may have difficulty

understanding the original meaning, leading to negative reactions. This can damage

the company's image and reduce sales. Therefore, it is important to ensure that

translations are done accurately and professionally to avoid such issues.. In another

example, a Korean company translated its product advertisements into English to

convey the idea that

"our products will change your life".

However, due to

incorrect translation, the phrase "our products will make you beautiful" was used,

which did not accurately reflect the company's promise and was not well-received

by the market. Additionally, errors in technical documentation, contracts, and

product-related data translation can seriously affect product safety and reliability.

Therefore, companies should pay great attention to high-quality

translation services and cooperate with professional translators.

They should also take cultural differences into account during the

translation process. This approach ensures the success of

international sales and business and plays an important role in

strengthening brand image and building trusting relationships globally.

In conclusion, language and translation play an important role in international

relations, as they contribute to the development of cultural, political, and economic

processes. By taking into account cultural differences during the translation process,

accurate and high-quality translations help to improve international cooperation and

communication. The further development of translation theory and practice will

further strengthen international relations.
