FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS
IN ORGANIZING PRODUCTION PRACTICE IN HIGHER
EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS OF PEDAGOGY

ANNOTATION: The article discusses the organization of production
practice in pedagogy higher education institutions, the formation of professional
competence in students, and its role in the educational process.
АННОТАЦИЯ: В статье рассматриваются вопросы организации
производственной практики в педагогических вузах, формирования
профессиональной компетентности студентов и ее роль в образовательном
процессе.

Increasing the effectiveness of production practice in the training of future
technology teachers consists of a set of theoretically developed didactic approaches,
in this process it is necessary to implement the following tasks: to determine the
presence of didactic conditions in pedagogical higher educational institutions that
allow increasing the effectiveness of production practice; to develop the content and
a consistent system of organizing production practice; to create a set of educational
and methodological literature that allows establishing effective production practice;
to involve teachers with special pedagogical knowledge in organizing production
practice; to achieve a systematic improvement of their pedagogical and professional
knowledge; to form a technological approach to organizing production practice in

them; to identify ways to ensure the active participation of students in the process of
production practice, to form in them the skills of independent study and learning of
professional knowledge; to ensure the formation of interest and motivation in students
in acquiring professional knowledge; achieving strong cooperation between other
institutions of the continuing education system; in the field of successful organization
of production practice
popularization of experiences, etc.
It is important to adhere to the following principles in order to increase the
effectiveness of production practice in pedagogical higher educational institutions:
- unity and coherence of qualifications and production practices. Ensuring the
unity and coherence of educational and production practices carried out in
pedagogical higher educational institutions provides students with a deep mastery of
professional knowledge, the formation of skills to apply them in practical activities,
and also prepares the ground for the development of professional skills in them;
- the scientific and practical basis of production practice. The current
legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan forms the methodological basis of
production practice carried out in higher educational institutions;
- consistent, systematic, continuous and purposeful organization of production
practice. This principle implies the implementation of practices in pedagogical higher
educational institutions in the manner established by the State Educational Standards;
- the single-purpose orientation of production practice. The main purpose of
production practice organized in pedagogical higher educational institutions is to
provide future teachers of technological education with professional knowledge, to
form in them the skills to carry out professional activities, and to achieve their
transformation into a professional culture. The implementation of practices based on
a single goal determines the specific direction of the activities carried out in this area
and serves as a theoretical basis for determining its content;
- an integrated approach to the organization of production practice. Pedagogy
implies that production practice carried out in higher educational institutions is carried
out within a single system in special rooms or training grounds and in conditions
outside the educational institution;

- taking into account the age characteristics and life needs of students when
organizing production practice. This principle implies the provision of professional
knowledge in a volume that can meet the needs of future teachers of technological
education, taking into account their thinking and worldview, as well as the scope of
their life experience;
- in the process of implementing industrial practice, respect for the student's
personality, ensuring the inviolability of their profession, and ensuring the harmony
of their interests with the interests of society;
- achieving mutual cooperation in organizing industrial practice. It is
advisable to involve representatives of other institutions of the continuing education
system in the process of industrial practice implemented in pedagogical higher
educational institutions, and to make effective use of the capabilities of these
organizations.
Improving the effectiveness of production practice in pedagogical higher
educational institutions is a complex process, which is carried out in several stages.
Stages of improving the effectiveness of production practice and forming
professional skills in students.
Stage 1
- the content of production practice is developed;
- the process of production practice is provided with modern technologies and
techniques;
- educational and methodological literature (syllabus, textbook, educational
and methodological manuals, didactic materials and exhibits) is created that covers
the content of production practice;
- measures are determined that determine the amount of time spent by students
on acquiring professional knowledge;
- the possibilities of using practical tools are studied. - production practice is
carried out on a large scale;
Stage 2

- the level of its effectiveness is determined based on educational and
methodological literature (syllabus, textbook, educational and methodological
manuals, didactic materials and exhibits) that covers the content of educational
practice;
- actions are taken to ensure the activity of students in the process of
organizing production practice;
-measures to achieve less time spent by students in acquiring professional
knowledge are determined. - an efficient system of production practice is created;
Stage 3
- the availability of scientific and ideologically perfect educational and
methodical literature (curriculum, textbooks, educational and methodological
manuals, didactic materials and firearms);
- a technological approach to the implementation of production practice is
formed.
- independent activity of students is achieved during production practice.
- it takes less time. Practice tools are used.
The effectiveness of production practice carried out in higher educational
institutions of pedagogy can be determined by the following criteria: the creation of
an effective system of production practice, the provision of scientifically improved
educational and methodological literature for the production practice process, the
involvement of teachers with theoretical knowledge and pedagogical skills in
production practice, and the formation of a technological approach to the organization
of this process in them, the provision of this process with modern technical means,
the emergence of independence and activity of students, the short time spent by them
on thorough mastery of professional knowledge, the minimal use of pedagogical tools
in this process, the formation of a high level of professional knowledge, skills and
qualifications in students.
The following methods are of great importance in increasing the effectiveness
of production practice in pedagogical higher educational institutions: ensuring the
general design of production practice; determining the purpose of practice on the

topics expressed within a certain course aimed at organizing production practice in
pedagogical higher educational institutions, and clearly defining the tasks to be
performed to achieve it; achieving the identification of specific goals included in the
general goal in the process of studying each production practice or organizing an
event with a professional content; developing the content of production practice;
dividing each production practice into certain stages; selecting the organizational
form, method, technology and means of production practice; determining the amount
of time spent on the formation of knowledge, skills and qualifications that students
are expected to acquire in production practice conducted within a certain topic;
determining the form, method and methods of general control over the professional
activity of students. The professional skills of teachers of higher educational
institutions of pedagogy are manifested in the ability to see and express pedagogical
issues based on the analysis of pedagogical situations, and in finding appropriate
methods for solving them. The main requirements for a modern teacher are the
following: the ability to organize production practice, conduct educational work,
demonstrate personal qualities that ensure the human factor in the process of
production practice, the ability to objectively monitor and evaluate the knowledge and
skills of future teachers of technological education. It was noted that ensuring the
design of production practice, determining the goal of practice, clearly defining the
tasks to be performed to achieve it, dividing each production practice into certain
stages, selecting the organizational form, methods, means and methods of production
practice, determining the form, methods and methods of general control over the
professional activity of students, etc. are of great importance in increasing the
effectiveness of production practice.
