not only of a high artistic level, but also distinguished by their delicate taste in

The beginning and development of translation work
Feinberg's translation work began in his youth, when he first entered the art
of translation by studying famous works of Russian literature and comparing them
with Uzbek literature. As a result of his interest in translation work, he deeply
understood the essence of literary translation and formed his own style. In his
translations, Feinberg sought not only to translate the text word for word, but also to
preserve its spiritual and aesthetic impact.
His translation work gradually expanded. Initially, he was engaged in
translating poems, but later he also translated prose, historical works, and even
journalistic articles. His contribution to the translation of Uzbek literature into
Russian and Russian literature into Uzbek is especially significant. His translations
were highly appreciated in the literary environment of that time, and their introduction
to readers served to develop literary dialogue.

movements and artistic styles. Feinberg translated mainly famous works of Uzbek
and Russian literature, and his translations have not lost their relevance even today.

tone, which made his translations lively and impressive. His translations were met
with great interest in their time and were highly appreciated by the literary

Although Alexander Feinberg mainly translated between Russian and Uzbek,
he also translated some works from other languages. He translated Russian literature
into Uzbek, creating an opportunity for Uzbek readers to get acquainted with Russian
classics. He also translated the best examples of Uzbek literature into Russian and
made them available to the general public. Feinberg's translations served to develop
literary ties, widely promote cultural heritage, and strengthen mutual understanding
between peoples. His translation work is still of great importance today, and he is
considered one of the creators who demonstrated a high level of translation art.
Peculiarities of Translation Style
Alexander Feinberg, not only as a writer and poet, but also as a translator,
made a great contribution to strengthening the cultural bridge between Uzbek and
Russian literature. His translation style is distinguished by its originality, attracting
attention with its fidelity to the original, artistic thought, and the perfect harmony of
poetic and stylistic expression. In the translation process, Feinberg avoided literalness
and tried to convey the spirit of the work, which is why his translations were unique
and impressive not only in terms of language, but also in terms of aesthetics.
The Basic Principles of His Translation Style
Alexander Feinberg followed several important principles in the translation
process. In addition to the technical aspects of the translation, he paid special attention
to preserving the artistic and aesthetic content of the work, the author's style and
creative spirit. His translation principles are as follows:
Faithfulness to the original and harmony of artistic thought
Fainberg aimed to be as close to the original as possible in the translation
process, but he also considered it important that the translation be lively and
expressive. This means that he did not limit himself to translating literally, but tried
to convey the spirit of the work. He considered one of the main criteria in his work
that the translated text should read as naturally and vividly as the original work.
Preservation of cultural context
Fainberg's translations paid special attention to the national and cultural
context. During the translation process, he ensured that the original work was

understandable to Uzbek or Russian readers without distorting its historical and
cultural context. This plays an especially important role in the translation of literary

cultural context. This plays an especially important role in the translation of literary
and artistic texts.
St
ylistic harmony
Each author has his own unique writing style, and it is important to maintain
this style in the translation process. Feinberg analyzed the writing style of each author
and tried to preserve it in the translation. For example, when translating poetic works,
he paid great attention to not breaking the rhythm and tone, and when translating
prose, he paid great attention to preserving the author's artistic style.
Fidelity to the Originality and Expression of Artistic Thought
Feinberg tried to remain faithful to the originality in the translation process,
but he also added his own creative approach as a translator where artistic thought was
required. In the translation process, he:
Used equivalent expressions to preserve the main meaning and spirit of the
text.

Tried to preserve the images, symbols, and artistic images in the text during
the translation process.
He paid special attention to idioms and expressed them in equivalent forms
that would come naturally in the new language environment.
His translations aimed to convey the artistic and aesthetic impact of the
original text rather than a literal translation, which led to his high appreciation by
readers.
Maintaining poetic and rhythmic harmony in poetic translations
Feinberg often translated poetic works. In this process, he tried to preserve the
poetic weight and rhythm of the work. Since it was sometimes difficult to maintain
the original weight in translation, he sought not to lose the aesthetic impact of the
work through artistic texture. His poetic translations are distinguished by the harmony
of content and form.
Poetic and Stylistic Means Used in His Translations
Feinberg widely used the following poetic and stylistic means in his
translations:
Metaphor and Symbolism
In translating metaphors in the original text, he sought to convey them in a
form that was understandable to the reader and at the same time consistent with the
original, rather than translating them word for word. For example, in Russian or
Uzbek literature, he ensured naturalness by replacing metaphors that did not
correspond to each other with equivalent images.
Syntactic adaptation
Since each language has its own syntactic structure, Feinberg tried to correctly
adapt sentences during the translation process. For example, if the complex sentence
structures of the Russian language were inconvenient in the Uzbek language, he
expressed them in a suitable form without losing their artistic quality.
Tonal harmony

He paid attention to the tone of the work in his translations. For example,
historical works retain a serious and formal tone, while poetic works retain rhythmic
and lyrical harmony.
Conclusion
Alexander Feinberg made a great contribution to strengthening Uzbek and
Russian literary ties through his translation work. His translations are distinguished
not only by their artistic skill, but also by their linguistic subtlety and fidelity to the
original. He saw translation not as a simple exchange of words, but as a creative
process, and in each translation he sought to preserve the author's style, aesthetic
views, and literary spirit. In today's literary studies, Feinberg's translations are studied
as a high example of literary translation. Through his work, we understand the
importance of accurately conveying the author's intention, cultural context, and
artistic expression in the translation process. He left invaluable experience in finding
a balance between freedom and fidelity in literary translation, and in conveying poetic
and prosaic texts in a lively and impressive way.
Feinberg's translations provide important lessons for future generations of
translators. He showed that a translator is not just a person who knows a language,
but also a mediator between cultures. His work encourages today's young translators
to convey a natural and lively translation to the reader, while preserving the content
and spirit of the original. Feinberg will take his place in the history of literature as a
creator who paid great attention not only to the technical aspects of literary translation,
but also to the aesthetic and artistic aspects.
