for technological progress by developing human capital and forming innovative
thinking. However, in order for the role of the education system in stimulating
innovation to be fully realized, it is necessary to overcome certain problems and
effectively use existing opportunities.
This article analyzes the current problems of the education system aimed at
developing innovative thinking, ways to solve them, and opportunities based on
international experience.
LITERАTURE REVIEW АND DISСUSSIОN
Education and innovation are closely related, and modern research confirms
this connection. According to UNESCO (2020), countries with innovative economies
have high quality education and extensive research activities. Research institutes and
universities play an important role in the creation and commercialization of
innovative products.
The experience of Finland and South Korea shows that countries that integrate
innovative educational programs and practical training into the educational process
have a higher level of technological progress. For example, in South Korea, special
attention is paid to teaching STEM subjects and students are encouraged to participate
in scientific and research activities.
However, it is observed that the potential of the education system in
developing countries to develop innovative capacity is not being fully utilized.

structure, financing of scientific and research projects, and
provision of advanced technologies are hindering this process.

Innovative activities should be directed towards the goals of modernization of
education, the general strategy of education, for which it is necessary to directly
stimulate all participants in this process.
The importance of the widespread use of innovative activities in modern
conditions of the development of society, culture and education is determined by a
number of circumstances:
- changes in the socio-economic sphere of society have necessitated a
complete renewal of the education system, changes in the methods and technologies
of organizing the educational and upbringing process at various levels. In this case,
innovative activity is a means of updating educational policy.
- the increasing importance of the humanitarian part of the educational
content, increased attention to the social and educational content of education, in this
regard, a change in the volume and composition of educational subjects; the
introduction of new subjects, which leads to the search for new forms and
technologies of education. In this situation, the tasks of improving the professional
skills of educational participants and searching for new forms and methods of
educational interaction are becoming urgent.
- changing the nature of teachers' attitude to the reality of mastering and
applying pedagogical innovations. Previously, in conditions of strict regulation of the
content of the educational process, the teacher was limited in the independent
selection of new programs, textbooks, and also had limited access to new methods
and techniques of pedagogical activity. Today, innovative activity in education is
acquiring a selective, research-based character. Therefore, an important area of
\u200b\u200bactivity of various subjects of management and organization of
educational institutions is the analysis and evaluation of pedagogical innovations
introduced by teachers, the creation of the necessary conditions for their successful
development and application.
- conditions of a market economy, in which educational institutions become
real participants in relations, which puts them in a position to increase

competitiveness and the quality of services provided. Innovations help to make
services exclusive and improve quality.
Thus, innovations in the modern educational process are an integral element
of its content. Innovations act as a means of implementing a new educational policy
and forming a new successful personality. Innovations in education must be followed
by each participant, in this process the teacher plays a leading role, the extent to which
he implements innovative processes in his personal and professional activities, aimed
at educating and educating the future generation, determines the quality of modern
education.
The following problems exist in the development of innovative education:
Lack of financial resources:
The funds allocated to finance research projects
are often insufficient.
Low human resource capacity:
The lack of teachers with innovative
thinking leads to poor organization of the educational process.
Outdated curricula:
Traditional teaching methods are not effective enough
in developing students' creative thinking skills.
However, the following options are available:
Use of digital technologies:
The educational process can be improved with
the help of online courses and virtual laboratories.
Expanding international cooperation:
Sharing experience through
participation in international programs in the field of scientific research.
Development of startup and incubation centers:
Creating opportunities for
students to implement their innovative ideas.
Research shows that interactive teaching methods and digital technologies can
help develop students' creative thinking. In particular, practical exercises and project-
based learning methods can help increase educational effectiveness.

maintaining the once established order. Developing systems are characterized by a
search mode. Innovative processes in the developing educational systems of
Uzbekistan are being carried out in the following areas: the formation of new
educational content, the development and introduction of new pedagogical
technologies, the creation of new types of educational institutions. In addition,
professors and teachers of a number of educational institutions of Uzbekistan are
engaged in the practical implementation of innovations that have become the history
of pedagogical thought. For example, alternative educational systems of the early 20th
century M. Montessori, R. Steiner, etc. School development cannot be achieved in
any other way than through the development of innovations, through the innovative
process .
To effectively manage this process, it is necessary to understand it, and
therefore know it. The latter involves the study of its structure or, as they say in
science, its structure. There are different types of innovations, depending on the
criterion by which they are divided. 1) by source of origin: external (outside the
education system); internal (developed within the education system) . ) by scope of
use: single; diffuse. Based on the above, we can formulate the basic model of
innovation design: the higher the level of innovation, the higher the requirements for
scientifically based management of the innovation process.
In order to fully and accurately reflect the specifics of the innovative processes
taking place in the modern Uzbek educational space, two types of educational
institutions can be distinguished in the education system: traditional and developing.
Traditional systems are characterized by stable activity aimed at maintaining the once
established order. Developing systems are characterized by a search mode. In the
developing Uzbek educational systems, innovative processes are being implemented
in the following areas: the formation of new educational content, the development
and introduction of new pedagogical technologies, the creation of new types of
educational institutions.
In addition, professors and teachers of a number of educational institutions of
Uzbekistan are engaged in the practical implementation of innovations that have

process, it is necessary to understand it, and therefore know it. The latter includes the

CONCLUSION
in promoting innovation is invaluable. To develop innovative thinking, it is
necessary to widely introduce modern technologies and practical training into the
educational process . Integration of the education system with research activities and
support for startup projects creates an important foundation for an innovative
economy. High results can be achieved in the educational process by studying
international experiences and implementing innovative approaches in practice.
