TEACHING ENGLISH

Abstract: English is today the foundation of global communication and plays
an important role in many fields, including Business, Education, Science and culture.
Learning English also helps to form the skills necessary for personal and professional
development. Educational technologies, on the other hand, provide new approaches
and opportunities for teaching English. This article will consider in detail the
advantages of educational technologies in teaching English.

One of the most important advantages of educational technology is that it
makes the teaching process interactive and interesting. Traditional teaching methods
often lead students to a passive state, which can reduce their motivation. However,
with multimedia materials, video lessons, interactive games and simulations, students
are actively involved in language acquisition. This allows them to apply their
knowledge in practice and makes the teaching process more interesting. Students will
have more opportunities to feel in the language environment they are learning, to
master new words and phrases. Also, educational technologies provide personalized
training. Each student has a unique learning style, speed and abilities. With the help
of educational technologies, teachers can organize training taking into account the
individual needs of students. For example, through online platforms, students can
choose materials that match their abilities and read at their own pace. This helps to
increase students ' level of knowledge by studying in a style that is comfortable for
them.[1]

Educational technologies for teachers facilitate the work process. Lesson
planning, evaluation and monitoring of the learning process for teachers often take
time. However, with the help of educational technologies, teachers can automate their
work. For example, with the help of online assessment tools, teachers can quickly
determine the level of knowledge of students and analyze the results. This allows
teachers to take classes more efficiently, as they can focus more on students ' needs
instead of spending their time preparing classes. Educational technologies provide
access to global educational resources. Through the Internet and digital platforms,
students have access to a wide variety of resources, textbooks and teaching materials
around the world. This further expands their learning of English. Students have the
opportunity to communicate in English in an international environment, which further
develops their language skills. They can expand their knowledge by getting to know
different cultures. Educational technology also helps to increase the creativity of
students. In the process of learning English, students must develop the skills of
expressing their thoughts, communicating in writing and verbally. With the help of
educational technologies, students will have the opportunity to create a variety of
projects, presentations and creative works. This develops their creative thinking and
increases their interest in learning the language. Through their creative work, students
have the opportunity to express their thoughts and apply their knowledge in
practice.[2]
Educational technologies help develop students ' social skills. Through online
platforms and social media, readers are able to interact, exchange ideas, and
collaborate with other readers. This develops their teamwork skills and helps them
feel free in the social environment. Students can further strengthen their knowledge
by exchanging ideas with each other and become familiar with new ideas. Educational
technologies make the teaching process more efficient and easier. The process of
preparing and conducting classes for teachers is often difficult and time-consuming.
However, with the help of educational technologies, teachers can automate their work.

have the opportunity to conduct classes more fun and efficiently. This increases
students ' interest in the course and ensures their active participation.[3]
Conclusion:
In conclusion, there are many advantages of educational technologies in
teaching English. They help to make the teaching process interactive and fun, provide
personalized training, facilitate the work of teachers, provide access to global learning
resources, increase creativity, develop social skills, improve efficiency and facilitate
the teaching process. Therefore, the widespread use of educational technologies in
teaching English is necessary. This has a positive effect not only on the development
of language skills of students, but also on their overall development. Effective use of
the capabilities of educational technologies for teachers and students will help to
further develop the process of learning English in the future.
