Peyer's patches are an effective tool for protection against the penetration of the pathogen through the gastrointestinal tract. The small intestine, constantly interacting with natural antigens, primarily with microor- ganisms with pronounced immunogenicity, undergoes significant structural and functional rearrangements. They are expressed in changes in the linear parameters of the villi and crypts, accelerating the renewal of en- terocytes, increasing infiltration with inter-epithelial lymphocytes, enriching one's own plate with immunocom- petent cells, clearly forming the structural and functional areas of the PB
