Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the concepts of the syllable and the basic theories of the syllable. The work discusses the expiratory theory of the syllable, as well as the sonorant theory of the syllable. Various theories are considered in syllable research, each emphasizing different aspects of this phonetic unit.
