COMPOSIYION OF THE PLANT AND ITS USE IN FOLK MEDICINE

Abstract:
One of the current problems of today is the addiction to
pharmaceutical products and the emergence of addiction to them. Chemical products,
as well as pharmaceutical products, can cause various diseases in humans. This
article describes in detail the natural useful product mint, which is described as a cure
for a thousand ailments, and its beneficial properties. Instructions are given based on
specific information about how to use mint for which diseases.

: Одной из актуальных проблем современности является
зависимость от фармацевтических препаратов и возникновение зависимости от
них. Химическая продукция, как и фармацевтическая продукция, может
вызывать различные заболевания у человека. В данной статье подробно
описывается натуральный полезный продукт мята, который описывается как
лекарство от тысячи недугов, и его полезные свойства. Инструкции даны на
основе конкретной информации о том, как использовать мяту при каких
заболеваниях.

Access:
Tanacetum vulgare L. belongs to the Asteraceae family. It is a perennial
herb, reaching a height of 50-150 cm, with a characteristic odor. The stem is erect,
branched. It is hairless or slightly hairy. The leaves are simple, pinnately dissected,
dark green on the upper side, gray-green on the lower side. The leaves on the lower
part of the stem are serrated, while those on the middle and upper parts are serrated,
arranged alternately on the stem. The flowers are yellow, collected in a basket,
forming a thyroid inflorescence. The fruit is an elongated pistachio. The plant blooms
all summer. The geographical distribution of Tanacettum vulgare is Moldova,
Ukraine, Belarus, the Russian Far North, and the Urals, except for the steppe regions

of the lower Volga. It grows mainly on roadsides, near settlements, in meadows,
forest edges, and along waterways.[1]
Chemical composition
. The inflorescences contain 1.5-2% essential oil.
Flavonoids (quercetin, luteolin, apigenin, chrysoeriol, diosmetin, isorhamnetin,
axillarin, etc.), alkaloids, tannins, polyunsaturated lactones (polyene lactones) and
tanacetin, a bitter substance. The essential oil contains a and b (up to 47%) - thujones,
camphor, thujol, borneol, pinene and other compounds. Use. The flowers of the
Tanacettum vulgare plant are used to expel worms and treat liver and intestinal
diseases. Medicinal product. Tincture. Tanacetol preparation (a mixture of flavonoids
and phenolcarboxylic acids obtained from the inflorescences is released in the form
of powder or tablets).
Habitat and distribution:
The Tanacetum vulgare is widespread in almost all
foothill and mountainous parts of Uzbekistan. It is found along streams and rivers, in
shady places, and under trees in the mid-mountain zone.
Medicinal uses:
A decoction of the flowers of the Tanacetum vulgare plant is
used against roundworms and certain intestinal diseases. The herb has been found to
have carminative and phytoncidal properties, which is why it is effective in treating
giardiasis, cholecystitis, and hepatitis.[2]The above-ground part of the plant also has
insecticidal properties. The plant is poisonous, and if consumed in large quantities by
animals, it can cause poisoning. A small amount of the plant in hay also gives a bitter
taste to milk. Use of the plant in the treatment of various diseases: In local folk
medicine, its leaves and flowers are used for hepatitis, cholecystitis, angiocholitis, as
an astringent, enterocolitis, anacid gastritis, lymbiosis. In foreign folk medicine, the
plant is used for rheumatism, gout, stomach ulcers, dysentery, flatulence, migraine, to
regulate menstruation, epilepsy, hysteria, malaria, edema, jaundice, and stomach
cramps. pyelonephritis, urolithiasis, purulent wounds, ulcers, scabies, bruises, boils,
for the treatment of dandruff. Tansy, as a poisonous plant, requires caution when used
internally.

(369.0 mg), Ni (9.3 mg), Cu (19.2 mg), Zn (40.4 mg), Br (10.9 mg), Rb (8.9 mg), Sr
(9.8 mg), Y (1.4 mg), Zr (2.8 mg), Nb (1.9 mg), Mo (1.0 mg), Cd (1.0 mg), Sn (3.8
mg), Ba (8.6 mg), Sm (3.2 mg), Pb (2.1mg), K (36380 mg), Ca (20900 mg), amount
of elements It was found to be more than others.[3]
Conclusion
: In conclusion, since tanacetum vulgare is a perennial plant, it can
be propagated by sowing in autumn and early spring. It grows well on all soils of

Uzbekistan. Given its well-developed root system, it is recommended to plant it on
eroded soils. It protects the soil from erosion.
