helps bridge the gap between theoretical language learning and practical application.
These techniques allow learners to practice real-life scenarios, leading to improved
retention and application of language skills. Challenges in ESP Implementation Despite
its benefits, the study highlights several challenges that affect the successful
implementation of ESP courses: Shortage of Qualified ESP Instructors – Teaching ESP
requires both linguistic expertise and subject-matter knowledge, making it difficult to
find instructors who are proficient in both areas. Limited Availability of Specialized
Teaching Materials – Unlike General English, ESP requires customized learning
resources that align with industry trends. Developing or accessing such materials can
be time-consuming and costly. Need for Continuous Course Adaptation – As industries
evolve, ESP courses must be regularly updated to incorporate new technologies,
regulations, and workplace communication practices. Motivating Learners with Varied
Backgrounds – ESP students often come from diverse professional and academic
backgrounds. Some may struggle with technical English, while others may lack
motivation if they do not immediately see the practical benefits of ESP.Future
Directions for ESP To address these challenges and maximize the impact of ESP,
several improvements can be made:Integration of Digital Learning Tools – Online
platforms, AI-based language training, and virtual simulations can help create
interactive, customized, and accessible ESP programs.Collaboration Between
Educators and Industry Experts – Developing ESP courses in partnership with
professionals from various fields can ensure that the curriculum remains relevant and
