Аннотация

В данной статье освещаются методы развития речевой деятельности будущих преподавателей английского языка, подчеркивая роль современных педагогических технологий, инновационных подходов и интерактивных методов в формировании речевых навыков. Авторы анализируют дидактические принципы и практические методы для улучшения коммуникативной компетенции при преподавании языка. В статье также представлены способы использования технологий, направленные на увлечение студентов и интерактивность уроков, а также особые упражнения и техники для преподавателей. Цель статьи — повысить качество и эффективность языкового образования, создавая твердую основу для коммуникативного подхода в профессиональной деятельности учителей.

This article highlights the methods of developing the speech

activities of future English language teachers. It emphasizes the

importance of modern pedagogical technologies, innovative

approaches, and interactive methods in shaping speech skills.

The article analyzes the didactic principles and practical
methods of improving communicative competence in language

teaching. It also provides ways to utilize technologies that make

lessons engaging and interactive, as well as special exercises

and techniques for teachers. This article aims to enhance the
quality and effectiveness of language education, laying the

foundation for fostering a communicative approach in the

professional activities of teachers.

INTRODUCTION

Developing the speech activities of future English language teachers is one of the

critical issues in contemporary education. In today’s context, enhancing the

communicative competence of teachers is regarded as a fundamental factor in fostering

students’ interest in the language, ensuring t

heir active participation in the learning

process, and improving the quality of education (Jalolov J., 2012). A teacher’s ability to

articulate thoughts clearly and expressively plays a crucial role in guiding students to
become proficient in communicating their ideas in a foreign language.

The widespread application of modern pedagogical technologies and innovative

methods serves as an effective tool for improving speech activities. Interactive
approaches, communicative techniques, and technologies such as shadowing are

particularly effective in developing students’ pronunciation, listening skills, and ability to

express themselves fluently (Ashurova D., 2019; Karimov B., 2021). These methodologies
not only enhance the teacher-student interaction but also create a dynamic and engaging
learning environment.

This article explores the main methods for developing the speech activities of

future English language teachers, focusing on effective approaches to the teaching
process and their impact on the professional development of educators. The findings
presented aim to enhance the effectiveness of educational processes by improving

teachers’ speech activities, thereby contributing to the overall quality of language

teaching. Moreover, these app

roaches play a pivotal role in increasing students’

motivation and interest in learning a foreign language.

LITERATURE REVIEW AND METHODS

The development of speech activities remains a pivotal issue in pedagogical

research, with numerous scholars emphasizing its significance in preparing effective
language educators. Jalolov J. underscores the importance of communicative approaches
in fostering teachers' speech competence. His research highlights that a well-developed
ability to facilitate speech activities not only enhances the learning process but also
actively engages students, preparing them for practical language use. The study suggests
that the effective integration of interactive methods plays a central role in achieving
these goals.

Ashurova D. (2019) provides an in-depth analysis of modern pedagogical

technologies, focusing on the implementation of shadowing techniques to improve
students' pronunciation and listening comprehension. According to her findings,
shadowing significantly addresses deficiencies in intonation and pronunciation, while
promoting fluency. Additionally, she points to the effective use of audiovisual materials
as a supplementary tool for advancing listening skills and encouraging active engagement
in the learning process.

Karimov B. (2021) explores innovative training methodologies for teachers,

emphasizing situational exercises and structured practices. His research demonstrates
that these approaches not only build professional competence but also equip educators
to navigate diverse classroom dynamics more effectively.

Contemporary literature further emphasizes the transformative role of multimedia

technologies in bridging communication gaps between teachers and students. Brown H.D.
(2014) highlights the utility of video, audio, and interactive platforms in fostering an
immersive language-learning environment. These technologies, according to Brown, play

a vital role in stimulating students’ interest in speech activities while preparing them to

apply language skills in real-life contexts.

DISCUSSION AND RESULTS

The findings of this study confirm the high efficiency of modern pedagogical

technologies and innovative approaches in developing the speech activities of future
English language teachers. Techniques such as shadowing and situational exercises,
including role-playing and task-

based language practice, significantly improve students’

pronunciation and listening skills. During the experimental phase, these methods

demonstrated a substantial enhancement in students’ abilit

y to express their thoughts

fluently.

One critical aspect revealed in the study is the positive impact of communicative

approaches on students' motivation. Survey results indicate that the use of interactive
methods and multimedia technologies makes lessons more engaging and productive. As a

result, students’ active participation and independent learning capabilities improved

noticeably.

A comparative analysis of methodologies identified shadowing technology as the

most effective for enhancing pronunciation and listening skills compared to other
methods. Additionally, the use of situational exercises and task-based training in teacher
preparation sessions proved instrumental in advancing professional competencies.

The discussion also highlighted the central role of modern technologies in

fostering speech activities. Audiovisual materials, as recommended by Brown H.D.
(2014), were effectively utilized to prepare students for real-life communication

scenarios. Moreover, the effectiveness of communication-based methods in
strengthening teacher-student interactions was confirmed, emphasizing the importance
of fostering active dialogue to solidify speech skills.

Based on the results, the following practical recommendations were developed to

enhance the speech activities of future English language teachers:

1.

Regular integration of shadowing techniques and multimedia tools in teaching

practices;

2.

Increasing the use of communicative approach-based activities;

3.

Organizing specialized training sessions for teachers to strengthen professional

competencies;

4.

Employing interactive methods to make lessons more engaging and effective.

Implementing these strategies in the educational process will improve

communication efficiency between students and teachers, thus contributing to better
language learning outcomes.

CONCLUSION

This study has confirmed the critical importance of developing speech activities

among future English language teachers as a vital component of modern education. The
findings demonstrate that shadowing techniques, situational exercises, and
communicative approaches significantly enhance the effectiveness of the learning
process. Additionally, the integration of multimedia technologies into lessons has proven

to boost students’ motivation and substantially im

prove their pronunciation, listening,

and fluency skills.

Experimental results underscore the importance of developing teachers’ speech

competence at every stage of the educational process, including preparation and
evaluation phases. Specialized training sessions for teachers have been shown to enhance
their ability to deliver high-quality, effective education to students.

The practical recommendations derived from this research, including the use of

shadowing technology and interactive methods, provide a solid foundation for improving

teachers’ speech activities. Implementing these approaches will not only enhance the
quality of the learning process but also increase students’ interest in language learning,

thereby ensuring better educational outcomes.

The results of this study establish a scientific and practical basis for the application

of innovative methodological approaches in language teaching. Their implementation will
contribute to the broader integration of modern technologies into educational practices,
fostering innovation in the teaching of foreign languages.
