Abstract

The ability to understand individuals on a deeper level and word related pressure of rustic and metropolitan police concentrated on 120 police constables who were haphazardly chosen from 22 police headquarters of Dharwadtaluk. The ability to understand individuals at their core poll created by Dulewicz and Higgs, 2001, word related pressure scale by Srivastav and Sing, 1984, financial status scale by Agarwal et al., 2005 and self organized survey to gather assistant data were utilized for information assortment.

Results uncovered that 50% had normal degree of the capacity to understand anyone at their core while 4.2 percent had high and 45.8 percent were in low levels. Larger part (56.67%) of ladies had normal degree of profound while 41.67 percent had low and just 1.67 were in undeniable level where as greater part (half) of men had low degree of word related pressure showing that expansion in family size diminished the pressure. The capacity to appreciate individuals on a profound level and word related pressure were adversely related showing higher the capacity to understand people on a profound level lesser was the word related pressure.
