Fractures of the femur are common, usually serious and are the result of high-energyaccidents. They can be associated with involvement of other organs, causing deformities and sequelae for the patient, due to immediate or late complications. Anatomical reduction and stable internal fixation are essential in order to achieve the treatment objectives in patients with good bone quality. Treatment is eminently surgical as it allows early rehabilitation and reduces the risk of systemic complications. There are numerous therapeutic options, but osteosynthesis with an intramedullary plate and nail stands out. However, some factors influence the choice of the type of surgical intervention to be performed, such as hospital resources, availability of suitable material for the procedure, trained staff and availability of an image intensifier.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ONE FLAP TECHNIQUE FOR THE SURGICAL TREATMENT OF SYNDACTYLY

Leandro Azevedo De Figueiredo, Bianca Gabriella De Oliveira, Pedro Hemerly Figueiredo, Marcella Rodrigues Costa Simoes

Syndactyly is a congenital defect of the fingers or toes that can cause aesthetic and functional problems. In this condition there is a defect in the separation of the parts, according to the Swanson Classification, determined between the sixth and eighth week of intrauterine life and representing approximately 20% of all hand malformations. This pathology is the second most common congenital anomaly of the hand and has an incidence of 1:2000 to 3000 live births. It is one of the most heterogeneous deformities known in the literature, with unilateral, bilateral, symmetrical and asymmetrical variations. It occurs twice as often in boys. The aim of this study is to describe a new skin flap design for the treatment of syndactyly. This is a descriptive study, as it aims to detail the surgical technique using different processes for the treatment of simple or complex, incomplete or complete syndactyly. The study maintains the principles of the digital commissure reconstruction approach, adequate skin coverage and reconstruction of the nail bed, presenting a new flap associated with polypropylene coverage, solving the disadvantages of using a skin graft, such as deformities at the recipient site and morbidity of the donor area.

PREVALENCE OF DENTAL ANOMALIES OF CLASS II, SUBCLASS 2 IN CHILDREN DURING THE PERIOD OF MIXED DENTITION

Dilkhumor G. Kuranbayeva

Distal malocclusion is the only type of malocclusion that requires urgent treatment as soon as possible before maxillary discrepancy occurs. The incidence in the population varies around 45%, depending on age, racial group and types of distal malocclusion studied. We studied the frequency of occurrence of distal occlusion and its varieties among 20 children and adolescents with dental anomalies aged 6-13 years. Determining the types of such a complex anomaly as distal occlusion allows for more thorough treatment planning and positive, lasting results.

SPECIAL CHOICES FOR THE TREATMENT OF COMPLICATIONS OF THE SOFT TISSUE INJURIES OF THE FACIAL REGION

Farkhod Rakhmonovich Abdurakhmonov, Nodir Makhammatkulovich Rakhimov, Feruza Farkhodovna Abdurakhmonova

Despite the progress achieved in the field of reconstructive surgery in recent years, the treatment of complex defects and deformations caused by facial injuries remains problematic. The purpose of the study. Prevention of complications of joint injuries of the face-jaw area and development of comprehensive rehabilitation measures. As a result of observations, complications occurred mainly due to patients' late referral to the hospital. They showed that the results of complex treatment were effective, but only 3% of patients showed that the results of treatment were unsatisfactory for some reasons.

Shukhrat Abdujajilovich Boymurodov, Jasur Alimdjanovich Rizayev, Nodir Makhammatkulovich Rakhimov, Farkhod Rakhmonovich Abdurakhmonov, Abdurakhmonova Feruza Farkhodovna

This article presents an analysis of purulent inflammatory complications and their causes as a result of joint injuries of the face-jaw area. The main reasons for the complications of purulent inflammation were found to be late referral of patients to the hospital, diagnostic errors and social background. But we have come to the conclusion that the use of infrared thermometry is of great help in early detection of purulent complications and leads to early recovery of patients.

HERBAL ELIXIR FOR WOUNDS: FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF A SKIN CREAM WITH WOUND HEALING ACTIVITY

Rajneesh Pathak

The present study aims to formulate and evaluate an herbal skin cream with wound healing activity. Herbal remedies have long been utilized for their potential in promoting tissue repair and wound closure. In this research, a skin cream was developed using a combination of herbal extracts known for their wound healing properties. The formulated cream was subjected to a series of in vitro and in vivo evaluations to assess its efficacy in wound healing. In vitro assays included cell proliferation, collagen synthesis, and antimicrobial activity, while in vivo studies involved excision and incision wound models in animals. The results demonstrated that the herbal skin cream significantly enhanced cell proliferation, collagen production, and exhibited antimicrobial properties. Moreover, the in vivo models exhibited accelerated wound healing, reduced scar formation, and improved tissue regeneration compared to control groups. This study presents a promising formulation of an herbal skin cream with potent wound healing properties, underscoring the potential of natural remedies in advancing wound care treatments.
