Abstract

In this study, we tried to illuminate the grammatical and rhetorical terms in Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani's book Secrets of Rhetoric and follow the development of these terms and concepts in terms of controlling their meaning and determining the extent of their stability for Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani.

We relied on several sources, the most important of which are the books "Secrets of Rhetoric," "Dala'il Al-I'jaz fiIlm Al-Ma'ani," and "Al-I'jaz fiIlm Al-Ma'ani" by Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani, as well as modern references.

The reasons for choosing this topic are significant, as it allows us to delve into the concept of the grammatical and rhetorical term and its integration in Abdul Qaher Al-Jurjani's work, a crucial aspect of our understanding of rhetoric.

CONCLUSION

Based on what we have detailed about the book
Secrets of Rhetoric, the following becomes clear to
us:

1.

The book Secrets of Rhetoric is one of the
books that established the method of
examining the sciences of Arabic rhetoric.

2.

Its temporal delay gave it a special advantage,
allowing it to review what its predecessors
wrote, make up for what they missed, and
control its boundaries and outlines.

3.

The book successfully achieved its intended
purpose, which was to elucidate meanings
using the arts of rhetoric as a tool.

4.

The style of the book Secrets is high-level
literary, and its language is refined, clearly
showing the effect of being a speaker.

5.

It relies on poetic evidence in the first place,
then prose evidence and Quranic verses,
because the book is dedicated to examining the
eloquence of the Arabic language, not the
miracle of the Quran.

6.

Its interest in meaning stems from the claim of
interest in the word that appeared in his era.

7.

Al-Jurjani's method of analyzing evidence
confirms that rhetoric is an aesthetic art.
