Interpersonal relationships, particularly intimate relationships, are important for people in general and university students in particular.Intimate romantic relationship break-ups are common among university students and can affect them adversely. This study was interested in some of the contributions and consequences of break-ups. Twenty-five Bangladeshi university students completed a multiple choice survey which asked about romantic relationships and break-ups. Among the sample, the majority believed both males and females contribute to break-ups and that the main cause is mental disagreements. Furthermore, many of the students believed that there can be mental health consequences and impaired functioning from break-ups. The results also indicated that talking to one’s partner was believed to be the best way to prevent a break-up. Lastly, talking to friends and family to cope with a break-up was indicated as preferable to talking to a professional.

The article deals with euphemisms in the speech of politicians and diplomats in the English language.  The aim of the current article is to identify the functions of euphemisms in the political and diplomatic discourse of the English media. The relevance of this study is due to the insufficient study of the functions of euphemisms in political and diplomatic discourse (on the example of the English language). The author of the article considers political euphemisms as  words and expressions used in the language of politics instead of undesirable words and expressions in order to hide, soften or distort the meaning of the events and phenomena covered.

The article describes the study of the psychology of art in Russian and Uzbek literature, the principles of creativity, its stages and the views of literary critics on the creative process. The research on this topic in Uzbek literature is classified. In particular, it has been proved on the basis of scientific research that the artistic interpretations of the image of a creative person in Uzbek novels have been studied to a certain extent on the example of the image of historical figures. Although the issues of creative thinking, creative psyche and nature, the creative process have been studied on a scientific and theoretical basis, it has been concluded that its interpretation in the work of art, especially the image of the creative person in the work of art, is not sufficiently analyzed.
