Born on November 2, 1939, in Tashkent, Alexander Arkadyevich Feinberg came
from a family that had relocated from Novosibirsk two years before his birth[1].
After completing seven years of schooling, he enrolled in the Tashkent Technical
College of Topography. Upon graduation, he served in the military in Tajikistan.
Later, in 1965, he earned a degree from Tashkent University, studying part-time at
the Faculty of Philology’s Journalism Department while working for a student
newspaper. Feinberg graduated from the journalism faculty and went on to publish
several books. His works were not only released in Uzbekistan but also in Russia,
Saint Petersburg, Israel, and the United States. He authored fifteen poetry
collections and translated the epics and poems of Alisher Navoi, along with works
of other contemporary Uzbek poets, into Russian[2]. His poems were featured in

saw but sought to express the deepest emotions of the heart. Every word in his
poems carries power, and each line begins a new story. His greatest strength as a
poet lies in his ability to go beyond the external world, revealing profound inner
experiences and mysterious imagery. Feinberg’s renowned poetry collections, such
as "Velotreks", "Etude", "Distant Bridges", and "Seal of the Sky", not only depict
his life through verse but also deliver a unique experience to the reader. His poetry

An Inscription on a Closed Door
Do not knock on the door, my sorrowful friend,
Enough now, let me breathe for a while.
I will not be home today,
Nor will I be home tomorrow.
You are a poet, a thousand times great,
Yet why is your heart still unsatisfied?
Leave me in peace.
Go to the next generations,
But they will not be home either.
II.METHODS
Feinberg not only created exceptional works in his native language, Russian,
but also played a crucial role in introducing Uzbek literature to the world. A
significant part of his creative work was dedicated to literary translation. He
masterfully translated the ghazals of Alisher Navoi, as well as the poems and epics
of Erkin Vohidov, Omon Matjon, and other Uzbek poets into Russian, making a
