Annotatsiya: Yirik shaharlarda ekologik holatini yaxshilash masalasi
bugungi kunda juda muhim va dolzarbdir. Shaharlar, o‘zining iqtisodiy va ijtimoiy
hayoti bilan, ko‘plab muammolarni o‘z ichiga oladi. Ushbu muammolar orasida
eng muhimlaridan biri ekologik muammolar hisoblanadi. Yirik shaharlar tez
rivojlanayotgan va ko‘plab odamlarni o‘ziga jalb etayotgan joylar bo‘lib, bu esa
o‘z navbatida atrof-muhitga salbiy ta'sir ko‘rsatadi. Shuning uchun, shaharlarning
ekologik holatini yaxshilash uchun bir qator chora-tadbirlarni amalga oshirish
zarur.

Abstract: The issue of improving the ecological situation in large cities is
very important and relevant today. Cities, with their economic and social life,
involve many problems. One of the most important of these problems is
environmental problems. Large cities are places that are rapidly developing and
attract a large number of people, which, in turn, has a negative impact on the
environment. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a number of measures to
improve the ecological situation in cities.
Keywords: ecology, transport system, problems, environment, energy
consumption, cities, economic growth.
INTRODUCTION
Cities, as centers of the social, economic and cultural life of mankind, have
played an important role throughout history. They are not only dense settlements
of the population, but also places that provide opportunities for various activities
and services. Cities are generally a source of economic development, cultural
exchange and innovation. However, rapid urban growth and urbanization processes
pose a number of environmental problems. Air pollution, waste management,
reduced green spaces and problems in the transportation system pose a serious
threat to the environmental condition of cities. Therefore, the issue of ensuring the
environmental sustainability of cities and protecting the environment is one of the
urgent and important tasks today. In addition to ensuring the quality of life of its
inhabitants, cities should also focus on maintaining an ecological balance.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
Traffic flows between cities cause many problems, including air pollution
and inner-city congestion. To improve the transportation system, it is necessary to
develop public transportation, increase bicycle paths and create comfortable

pedestrian conditions. Through this, people can be encouraged to use public
transport within the city rather than by car. It is also important to improve the
efficiency of public transport, as well as to ensure that it is environmentally
friendly. The introduction of electric vehicles, such as trams and electric buses,
plays an important role in urban air purification.[1]
Green spaces, such as parks, alleys and forests, provide indoor air
conditioning, as well as recreational and sporting opportunities for the city's
residents. Green spaces reduce heat within the city and help maintain ecological
balance. Green spaces also improve the aesthetic aspects of urban life.[2] When
cities are being planned, it is necessary to focus on creating new green spaces.
Large cities produce a large amount of waste, and this is necessary so that effective
waste management does not adversely affect the environment.[3] It is necessary to
implement a waste separation and recycling system, as well as implement programs
to reduce emissions. Residents of the city should have information on the allocation
and processing of waste. This can reduce emissions and reduce environmental
impacts.[4]
RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS
Large cities consume a lot of energy, which negatively affects the
environment. Energy conservation and the use of renewable energy sources are
important in improving the environmental condition of cities. Energy consumption
can be reduced by introducing solar panels, wind turbines and other renewable
energy sources. It is also necessary to insulate and implement energy-saving
technologies to improve the energy efficiency of buildings. It is necessary to
change the attitude of the population towards environmental issues, to encourage
them to protect the environment. Through environmental education programs,
workshops, and events, residents of the city can learn about environmental issues.
By increasing the environmental awareness of the population, it is possible to
achieve an improvement in the environmental condition of cities. In order to

improve the environmental condition in large cities, it is necessary that the above-
mentioned measures be implemented together. Cooperation between local
authorities, government organizations, businesses and city dwellers is important in
the implementation of this process. Only by acting together can it be achieved to
improve the ecological condition of large cities.[5]
It is also important to share experiences between cities and learn successful
practices. The achievements of other cities in solving environmental problems can
offer new ideas and solutions.[6] Through cooperation and exchange of experience
between cities, it is possible to increase efficiency in solving environmental
problems. It is also necessary that large cities introduce innovative solutions to
environmental problems. [7] It is possible to improve the environmental condition
of cities by developing technologies and developing new environmental solutions.
The smart city concept, for example, helps ensure that cities use resources
efficiently. With smart technology, transportation, energy and waste management
can be further improved.[8]
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the issue of improving the ecological condition in large cities
requires an integrated approach. Measures such as improving the Transport system,
increasing green spaces, waste management, energy efficiency and promoting
environmental awareness are necessary to be implemented together. Only through
such actions can it be possible to improve the ecological condition of large cities
and maintain a clean and healthy environment for future generations.
