Annotation. This article analyzes the indicators of labor efficiency and their role
in economic development. Labor efficiency, at the level of organization and countries,
reflects the level of resource use of the labor force. The article discusses the main
indicators used in the assessment of labor efficiency, including factors such as the
volume of production, the level of wages and the efficiency of working hours. Opinions
are also expressed on innovative approaches, modern technologies and skill
development programs necessary to improve labor efficiency. On the example of
Uzbekistan, practical methods of improving labor efficiency and the impact of this
process on economic stability are considered. The article also highlights the importance
of cooperation between the public and private sectors in improving labor efficiency and
outlines future development prospects.

Introduction
. Labor efficiency is an economic indicator that measures the level of
resource use of the labor force and the results achieved in the production process. It is
represented by the amount of product or service that workers produce in a given period

efficiency allows workers to do a lot of work quickly and qualitatively, which optimizes
the production process. When assessing labor efficiency, several indicators are used.
One of the most common indicators is the ratio of the product or service produced to the
time spent per worker. For example, if a worker can produce 100 pieces per hour, his
labor efficiency is considered high. Also, the level of wages, the efficiency of working

Uzbekistan. Thus, practical methods of improving labor efficiency in Uzbekistan are
important in ensuring economic stability, strengthen the competitiveness of the country
and increase social well-being.
Conclusion. In conclusion, improving labor efficiency is a prerequisite for the
economic development of Uzbekistan. It is important not only for enterprises, but also
for the economy and social well-being of the country. Effective labor ensures the
production of high-quality products and services, which increases competitiveness and
increases economic stability. Thus, strategies for improving labor efficiency will serve
