This uses the ability of galvanic current to move ions in channels of any
shape and diameter, regardless of their degree of patency, exposure from the
anode or cathode to impregnate root canals, it is possible to install a galvanic cell
in the channel, use the sorbent AUVM "Dnepr" MN as an electrode, silver – copper
conductor placed in Teflon insulation as a modern alternative to the resorcinol-
formalin method.
The greatest study and confirmation of clinical effectiveness was received
by electrophoresis of iodine preparations according to the method of L.R. Rubin
(1951) in the treatment of pulpitis and periodontitis, affecting the microflora and
reparative processes in periodontal tissues, reducing the duration of treatment.

OPTIONS FOR USING RUBBER DAM

The relevance of research:
The use of rubber dam in dentistry in the first
place due to the need for high-quality isolation of the working field. However, the
use of cofferdam as isolation alone does not reflect real possibilities of this
material in practice.
Purpose ofthe study:
Visualization of methods for using latex and liquid
cofferdam. Also the work is aimed at preparing students to use this system,
consolidating the knowledge of already qualified employees, as well as generating
interest in the further development of methods for applying this element in
dentistry.
Materials and methods.
Cofferdam, forceps, perforator, template, frame,
clasps, dental floss, liquid rubber dam, materials for restoration, teflon tape.

Research results and discussion:
Technique №1: Putting a cofferdam on
tooth, a clamp is applied with forceps.
Technique No2: first we install the clamp, put a rubber dam on it, then with
the help of a trowel we straighten the rubber dam under the wings of the clamp.
Technique No3: Putting a rubber dam on the arch of the clamp. We fold the
rubber dam, put the clamp on the tooth, with the help of a trowel we straighten
the rubber dam under the wings of the clamp.
Technique No4: we put a scarf on the wings of a previously installed clamp.
We straighten the rubber dam under the wings of the clamp. Technique No5: put
a rubber dam on the tooth. We thread the dental floss into the holes for the forceps
with one end on the outside of the clamp, the other on the inside.
The clamp is placed on the tooth. The thread is stretched, spreading the
rubber dam in the distal tooth gap. The inner end of the thread is threaded under
the wing of the clamp through the distal dental gap outwards. Further, the same
end is threaded through the outer wing of the clamp and connected through the
arc to the outer end of the thread.The method provides better stability of the
lamp.You can also form an individual matrix lock. A liquid rubber dam is applied
to the holding parts of the retainer, creating an imprint of the surrounding
elements with the help of a liquid rubber dam, an individual occlusal key is
created. Before preparation of the lateral group of teeth, an imprint of the occlusal
surface is made from the liquid rubber dam. At the last stage of the restoration,
the contours of fissures are transferred through teflon tape.
Conclusions
: In practice, we analyzed the techniques of applying a rubber
dam, learned how to use them and tried to explain and clearly show the results.
We also came to the conclusion that the further development of new methods
application and modification of existing ones is a promising task.
