INTRODUCTION

In current days, innovative technology is replacing

traditional teaching due to vast changes in education

system. There are a lot of applications which

introduces video data to the learners to study. One of

them is MOODLE platform and Hemis platform which

involve learners learn the language without barrier of

time, place, action. In learning German language is not

easy that’ why today young learners prefer learning

German through platforms which can improve their

linguistic and professional knowledge. We carried out

a survey with the forty students from the faculty of

language. The result showed that multimedia is vital

for them to acquire language skills.

The importance of multimedia in learning Foreign

language. Multimedia is a combination of more than

one media type such as text (alphabetic or numeric),

symbols, images, pictures, audio, video, and

animations usually with the aid of technology for the

purpose of enhancing understanding or memorization

(Guan et al., 2018). It supports verbal instruction with

the use of static and dynamic images in form of

visualization technology for better expression and

comprehension. (Alemdag and Cagiltay, 2018; Chen

and Liu, 2008). The hardware and software used for

creating and running of multimedia applications is

known as multimedia technology (Kapi et al., 2017).

Multimedia technology has some characteristics like

integration, diversity, and interaction that enable

people to communicate information or ideas with

digital and print elements. The digital and print

elements in this context refer to multimedia-based

applications or tools used for the purpose of delivering

information to people for better understanding of

concepts. Indeed, various aspects of human

endeavors, especially the educational sector, are being

transformed by the advent of Information and

Communication Technology (ICT). ICT involves the use

of hardware and software for the purpose of

collecting, processing, storing, presenting, and sharing

of information mostly in digital forms. Multimedia

technology is an important aspect of ICT that deals

with how information can be represented and

presented digitally, using different media such as text,

audio, video, among others (Guan et al., 2018). It

involves the combination of several technologies

provide information in the best possible formats,

packages, and sizes (Abdulrahaman, Faruk, Oloyede,

Surajudeen-Bakinde, Olawoyin, Mejabi, Imam-Fulani,

Fahm , Azeez. 2020:2). Multimedia applications

presents a wide range of vocabulary (words) for the

learners to acquire, but for professions they can give

knowledge on terminology of different specialties.

Terminology can provide a learner with a full

realization of the specialty. Authentic contexts

enhance learners’ knowledge, equipping them with

needful instruction and views towards issues

concerning their fields of expertise (Abdinazarov. X.

2023:201).

RESEARCH METHODS

In learning FL, we use a variety of methods in

improving learners’ linguistic skills and their

professional knowledge. We carried out a survey with

40 participants for the interview from the faculty of

Energetics, Karshi Engineering-Economics institute,

Karshi, Uzbekistan. The research conducting focused

on questionnaire consisting of following questions:

1.

Are multimedia tools important to acquire

listening comprehension?

2.

Is MOODLE platform essential to get necessary

knowledge in language?

3.

Does HEMIS platform provide you with

additional video data on subjects?

4.

Can social platforms enhance your linguistic

skills?

The results were indicated in the diagram accordingly;

CONCLUSION

Multimedia is considered as an innovative tool in

learning the language because it can enhance the

learner

s’ linguistic skills in German language,

especially, they can acquire sufficient vocabulary

words and word-combinations, improve listening

comprehension and reading comprehension. Besides,

they can learn how to pronounce the words correctly

and construction of sentences in the speech patterns.
