PEDAGOGICAL ESSENCE AND MODEL OF TECHNOLOGICAL COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT IN FUTURE ENGINEERS
Pedagogical factors of development of technological competence of students of higher educational institutions with the help of electronic educational tools are considered in this article. The components of the didactic support system for electronic educational tools are highlighted. The model of the advantages of organizing education based on electronic educational tools and the main problems of organizing the educational process with the help of electronic educational tools are shown.
USE OF QUIZEZ AS А SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT IN TEACHING STUDENTS OF AN OIL AND GAS PROFILE
At the moment there is an increasing literary evidence for the design of feedback in higher education. The role of assessing the students’ knowledge is an essential part in teaching. Students are often dissatisfied with standard models of giving feedback and their perceptions often do not align with that of teachers who feel that students may undervalue the feedback. Standard feedback tends to give limited information that focuses on the assessment product and does not engage students in learning processes. This article gives a brief outline of using summative assessment in teaching the oil and gas profile students. Actually the research is based on the idea that modern pedagogical technologies implemented nowadays are more effective and motivational than the previous methods of teaching. This research investigated the validity of using the quizzes as a form of summative assessment, instead taking an exam or questionnaires. The participants’ level of knowledge of English, in which this research was conducted, was intermediate at the University specialized in oil and gas profile, where greater demands are imposed on developing vocabulary skills by the recommended curriculum. The results of this research revealed that the role of assessment is indispensable and it has an ability to motivate students to learn English. The results of this research will also be used as a basis upon which specific suggestions for the practical implementation of assessment in the everyday classroom can be made.
THE ISSUE OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF DIGITAL COMPETENCE OF MASTERS OF PRODUCTION EDUCATION
The article presents the content of the training of masters of industrial education, the tasks of their positions and services, the level of digital competence, the issue of regular professional development on the basis of professional educational institutions, the necessary knowledge and practical skills to be acquired, as well as feedback on their mastery.
IMPROVEMENT OF TRAINING OF SEMICONDUCTOR RELAY PROTECTION DEVICES BY NEW INTERACTIVE METHODS
This article states that technological developments are inextricably linked with energy, it is necessary to provide consumers with high-quality and uninterrupted sources of electricity, in this regard, students must be fully qualified in their areas of specialization. In particular, the problems of the competent use of existing pedagogical technologies for teaching subjects were highlighted, and a new interactive method of teaching with semiconductor relays in the subject "Relay Protection and Automation" was proposed.
