Neyrolingvistik dasturlash texnikasi zamonaviy chet tilini o‘qitish metodikasi uchun nisbatan yangi termin bo‘lsa-da, uning elementlaridan ta’lim sohasida, xususan, chet tillarini o‘qitishda anchadan beri foydalanib kelinmoqda. O‘z darslarida musiqa, rolli o‘yinlar, jamoaviy til o‘qitish usuli, suggestopediani qo‘llovchi o‘qituvchilar, allaqachon NLPning ahamiyatini idrok etishadi. Chunki neyrolingvistik dasturlash neyronlar hamda psixologiya bilan bog‘liq bo‘lib, har bir o‘quvchining miya faoliyati, har biri alohida shaxs sifatida o‘rganish uslubiga ega ekanligi, va shunga ko‘ra dars o‘tilsa, har birida samarali muloqot uchun imkoniyat mavjud ekanligiga asoslanadi.
