THE DEPENDENCE OF THE FUEL EFFICIENCY OF THE CAR ON THE TEMPERATURE REGIME OF THE MAIN UNITS DURING OPERATION IN A COLD CLIMATE
The analysis of fuel efficiency makes it possible to make a reasonable choice of the rolling stock of a motor transport company and its rational use when performing transport work.
The temperature regime of the units and the associated change in the fuel efficiency of cars depends both on the design parameters and on the conditions in which the cars are operated, and primarily on the ambient temperature.
A change in ambient temperature by 10 ° C leads to the fact that the total resistance to movement changes by about 8-10%, fuel consumption by 6-7%. If the ambient temperature decreases by 30 ° C, fuel consumption may increase by 25%. When the exhaust gas temperature increases by 10 ° C, the engine power decreases by 1.8-2.2% (more for diesels).
INDICATORS FOR ASSESSING THE EFFICIENCY OF FUEL USE IN ROAD TRANSPORT
This article discusses the evaluation of fuel efficiency indicators in road transport. At the same time, the main criterion for evaluating the efficiency of the use of automotive fuel is the specific fuel consumption in grams per unit of transport work. The energy intensity is calculated by dividing the total amount of energy consumed by the fuel by the transport work performed at the same time.
STUDIES OF ANTICORROSIVE PROPERTIES MOTOR OILS AND WAYS TO IMPROVE
The purpose of this work is to study how to improve the anticorrosive properties of lubricants. With an increase in temperature, the combined action of oxygen, air and water present in the lubricating oil causes rusting of the crankshaft, the walls of the sleeves, the cylinders of the internal combustion engine.
We have studied anticorrosive additives as an additive to improve the anticorrosive properties of oils. dialkylphenyldithiophosphoric acid additive was used as such additives. The anticorrosive activity of these substances is associated with their ability to orient themselves on the oil–water surface so that hydrophilic groups bind firmly to water, and the hydrocarbon radical remains in the oil.

The most effective modifiers of polymer matrices, from the point of view of increasing their parameters of deformation-strength and tribotechnical characteristics, are components that prevent the development of thermo -oxidative destruction and tribocracking processes. In our opinion, the formed requirements for functional composite materials based on thermoplastics can be ensured by implementing the basic methodological principles, which consist in increasing the resistance to the effects of thermo oxidizing and operating environments and aging.
THE AGING PROCESS OF MOTOR OILS DURING OPERATION
During the aging process, the composition of the oil becomes more complicated due to the accumulation of impurities in it, thermal or thermo-chemical decomposition of hydrocarbons and additives. These products enter into physical and chemical interactions with each other and with pollutants. There is also evaporation of light fractions of oil, the activation of additives, contamination with various mechanical impurities, water. To ensure minimal wear of engine parts, we suggest using oils of higher viscosity for hot climatic conditions.
