INTRODUCTION

The Uzbek national musical art is not only a musical heritage, but also a school of skill
that reflects the identity, historical and cultural wealth of the people. The sound, structure and
performance of each instrument hides the soul, pain and joy of the nation. This art form has been
harmoniously combined with the culture and traditions of our people for centuries, playing an
important role in expressing national identity. Today, national musical art has reached a new level,
harmonizing with modern musical trends.
Globalization processes around the world are pushing us to renew art and culture, enriching it with
new forms and content. The sound of our national instruments is now resounding on international
stages, entering into dialogue with the musical culture of other peoples. This not only strengthens the
international position of national music, but also requires the need to preserve its originality.
National instrumental performance has begun to find its place not only as a folklore heritage, but also
in modern musical genres. The participation of our instruments such as dutor, tanbur, rubab in a wide

innovative creativity. Such processes of harmonization allow us to discover new technical and
performance possibilities of our national instruments.
Therefore, this article analyzes the modern trends of Uzbek national instruments, their development
directions and their place on the international music scene. The main focus will be on innovations in
modern performance, the use of innovative technologies and the preservation of national musical
heritage.

METHODOLOGY

This study used a comprehensive approach to studying modern trends in Uzbek national instrumental
performance. The methodology was based on a combination of historical, analytical and experimental
methods. To study the history of the development of national musical instruments, archival materials,
written sources, and examples of folk oral art were used. This historical approach made it possible to
shed light on the inextricable link between the origin, evolution, and modern state of national musical
instruments.
The analytical approach analyzed modern trends in the performance of national instruments. In
particular, performance techniques, stylistic innovations, and the possibilities of integrating national
instruments into international musical trends were considered. At the same time, the results of musical
experiments involving innovative technologies were studied to study the place of modern technologies
in the performance of national instruments.
The experimental method analyzed the impact of modern musical works performed with Uzbek
national instruments on listeners. In this process, interviews were organized with professional
performers and teachers, and based on their feedback, the capabilities and prospects of national
instruments were assessed. As part of the study, practical tests were conducted to determine the ability
of national instruments to adapt to new musical genres and the effectiveness of using innovative
technologies in performance.
With the help of these methodological approaches, the uniqueness of the national musical art and its
place in the modern musical process were deeply studied and scientific conclusions were formed. At
the same time, the results of the research made it possible to develop practical recommendations for
the preservation and development of the national musical heritage.

Literature analysis

In studying modern trends in the performance of Uzbek national musical instruments, scientific and
theoretical literature on national musical art is of great importance. In particular, works covering the
history, performance styles and stages of development of Uzbek national musical instruments formed
the theoretical basis of the study. In this regard, the research of famous music theorists and scientists
served as a source for an in-depth analysis of the performance of national musical instruments.
As primary sources, works covering the origin of Uzbek folk music and the development of traditional
instruments were analyzed. These works shed light not only on the place of folk instruments in the art
of music, but also on their significance in the culture and history of the people. In particular, studies that
have studied the methods of performance of national instruments such as dutor, tanbur, rubab, and
kairak in Uzbekistan and their unique features are important sources for studying the Uzbek musical
heritage.
Also, in studying the modern trends of national instruments, literature on international musical
processes was analyzed. These works helped to shed light on the role of national instruments on the
global musical scene and their interaction with the music of other nations. In the context of

globalization, works that study the ability and technical capabilities of national instruments to adapt to
new musical trends are especially relevant.
The literature also pays special attention to the issues of using national instruments in the pedagogical
process. In particular, scientific research on the use of innovative methods and technologies in teaching
national instruments to the younger generation reveals important aspects of the development of
national musical education.
The analysis shows that the literature on the performance of national instruments is aimed not only at
improving performance skills, but also serves to promote and preserve the national musical art at the
international level. The analysis of this literature made it possible to draw scientifically based
conclusions and develop recommendations for the development of national instrument performance.

DISCUSSION

A number of important issues were discussed during the analysis of the performance of Uzbek national
instruments. Today, our national instruments are not only preserved in their traditional style, but are
also being adapted to modern music trends, acquiring a new form and content. This process enriches
Uzbek instruments with new technical capabilities and expands their performance potential. At the
same time, these development processes also make the issues of preserving the uniqueness of our
national instruments relevant.
Technologies are playing an important role in the modern musical process. With the help of electronic
equipment and innovative programs, the sound range and expressive capabilities of national
instruments are expanding, and they are entering the international music scene. However, in this
process, the issue of not losing the original spirit of our national instruments is of crucial importance.
Therefore, it is necessary to use modern technologies in balance with traditional methods in the
performing arts.
One of the important aspects identified during the study is the increase in the popularity of national
musical art among the younger generation. In the context of globalization, interest in studying and
performing national musical instruments may decrease. To prevent this, it is necessary to use
innovative pedagogical approaches in the national music education system, as well as actively work on
adapting national musical instruments to modern musical genres.
During the discussions, it was revealed that there are many opportunities to strengthen the
international position of our national musical instruments. In particular, presenting works performed
on national musical instruments at international festivals and competitions, and promoting them within
the framework of various musical projects can be an important tool in introducing national musical art
to the world.
In conclusion, for the modern development of Uzbek national musical performance, it is important to
solve such issues as combining innovations with traditional heritage, actively promoting them in
international arenas, and attracting the younger generation to this art. These processes serve to bring
national instruments to a new level and make them an integral part of the global cultural heritage.

CONCLUSION

Uzbek national instrument performance is a unique phenomenon that reflects the rich cultural heritage
of the people and the unique aspects of musical art. During the study, the trends and prospects of
modern development of our national instruments were studied in depth. It was found that these
processes are in harmony with the preservation of traditional musical heritage and the creation of new
opportunities on the modern music scene.

The development of modern technologies and performance methods is taking national instrumental art
to a new level. Integration with electronic instruments, adaptation to modern musical genres, and
promotion in international arenas open up new expressive possibilities for our national instruments.
However, in this process, it is important not to lose the true essence and unique styles of national
instruments. The harmony of tradition and innovation ensures the continuity and attractiveness of our
national musical art.
The issue of teaching and promoting our national instruments to the younger generation is also
relevant. Teaching national instruments through innovative pedagogical methods and modern
approaches in the educational process, and attracting young people to this art are important for the
future of the Uzbek musical heritage. In this regard, along with the development of performing arts, the
widespread promotion of national instruments in international musical arenas should also be one of
the priorities.
The results of the study showed that the development of Uzbek national musical instrument
performance requires a systematic approach to combining traditional values with modern trends, the
effective use of technological innovations, and the promotion of national musical heritage at the
international level. This will not only open up new possibilities for national instruments, but also serve
to preserve the cultural identity of our people and promote it on a global scale.
Thus, Uzbek national musical instrument performance is not only a rich heritage of the past, but also a
promising direction of modern art. The development of this art contributes not only to the rise of
national culture, but also to the worthy place of Uzbek music on the world music scene.
