THE RESEARCH PROBLEM OF INTERIOR DESIGN TERMINOLOGY IN LINGUISTICS
This article offers a comprehensive treatment of field-specific terminology in
linguistics, with particular attention to interior-design terms. It explains the role of the linguistic study
of specialized vocabulary and terms in the development of professional practice. Proceeding from an
anthropocentric perspective, it analyzes not only the structural-semantic features of terminology, but
also how terms reflect professional cognition and thought and express the distinctive features of the
national mentality.
