INTRODUCTION
The issue of time and space and its comparative study in world literature has
attracted the interest of numerous researchers. In particular, the classification of time
and space, its reflection in the process of translation from one language to another, their
special importance in the interpretation of an artistic work, language units representing
time and space and their meaning in micro-texts, and the extent to which they are
important To enhance the emotional impact of the work, it is essential to examine the
conceptualisation of temporal and spatial units within the modern artistic discourse,
specifically within the context of literature created in English and Uzbek, and to do so by
the most recent methodological principles. The conceptualization of time and space
relations necessitates the study, research, and dissemination of information to the
scientific community regarding the comparative study of the latest achievements in
world linguistics and advanced methods in practice.
Since the inception of the republic, special attention has been paid to the
development of science. During this period, fiction literature has experienced a certain
degree of growth within our republic.
In the realm of education, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. Mirziyoyev,
posited that "achievements will be ours, only knowledge is needed." He further asserted that
"each of us should look back and never forget that we are the children of great ancestors."
It is also worth noting that fiction is a product of consciousness that has the appearance of
art. It is therefore a productive way to understand the past, future, or intergenerational
emotional experiences of a foreign nation.
Based on this opinion, it can be noted that the topic of this article is relevant for
today.
MATERIALS
The world is created in such a way that there are different views about time and
space. For instance, philosophers of the ancient world, including Plato, Demetrius,
Iranshakhri, Zakariya ar-Razi, Beruni, and others, have elucidated their philosophical
perspectives on this concept through a comprehensive and detailed approach.

Subsequently, this concept evolved from a general to a specific level of analysis, with
studies conducted in diverse fields such as cybernetics, physics, literature, and others. In
recent years, the locative category has been interpreted as a phenomenon occurring on
the scale of the functional-semantic field or on the lexical level. If E.S. Kubryakova,
M.M. Kobozeva, J. Dinsmar, K. Coventry, and others attempted to identify the factors that
shape the logical-cognitive representation of locative content within the world-linguistic
landscape, J. Taylor, L.V. Gukina, V. Koprov, M. Biversh, and others began to investigate
the cross-linguistic characteristics of units. The phenomenon of temporality has been the
subject of numerous scientific studies in world and Uzbek linguistics. It is important to
note that temporality is primarily expressed in English and Uzbek in relation to the
activation of the present tense. Significant progress has been made in linguistics in this
field. In particular, V.N. Zhigadlo, I.P. Ivanova, L.L. Iofik, A.V. Bondarko, and A.M. Mukhin
have noted that there are different approaches to the interpretation of case. They have
learned that case is one of the secondary parts of the sentence, through which the
expression of temporality is manifested.
METHODS
Time in fiction is the time that is repeated and described in a literary work. It is
known that today in world linguistics, the analysis of linguistic and poetic aspects of
literature created in a foreign language and the research of the differences and
similarities in the language of the works created in the local language, and the differences
and similarities in the expression of events are gaining special relevance. In this regard, it
should be said that the conceptualization of the relations of time and space in the works
created today and their comparative study are factors that ensure the rise of new fields in
literary studies, as well as its integration with other disciplines. The need for a
comparative study of the conceptualization of time and space relations based on a
systematic and complex approach to the studied phenomena, the expression of the
category of temporality and locative in modern works of art, shows the necessity of
writing this article.
Based on this opinion, it can be noted that the topic of this article is relevant today.
Artistic time uses the diversity of subjective perception of time, as opposed to objectively
given time. In the article, the concept of time and its specific interpretation, the features
of expression of temporality in English and Uzbek linguistics, and the example of this
concept from Shukrulla's work are covered. The level of study of temporality in world
and Uzbek linguistics, approaches to this phenomenon in philosophy and linguistics are
described. The stages of the cognitive process, the perception and feeling of time through
mental and emotional cognition, and the detailed understanding of language
development are discussed. The comprehensiveness, connection and manifestation of the
concepts of space and time in the artistic text are highlighted. We can also see it in poetic
works that incorporate locative and temporal content. As an example, we can say that in
the poems of Erkin Vahidov, lexemes representing time are expressed at certain levels of
the language. For example, in the verses "Soylasin Afrosiyob-u, Soylasin Orhun khati..." in
the ode "Uzbegim", the concept of space reveals the realities of the time, developed and
polished in connection with the times as the main criterion in the formation of
civilization. the course is also analyzed on the example of the poet's poems. In linguistics,
it is stated that the concept of time covers several areas at the same time.
Human perception of time is subjective. It can "spin", "pass", "blow like the wind",
"stop".

Artistic time turns this subjective perception of time into one of the forms of
depicting reality. However, objective time is also used simultaneously. In fiction, time is
perceived through events
–
causal or associative relationships. Events in the plot precede
and follow each other in a complex sequence, and because of this, the reader perceives
time in the work of art, even if nothing is said about time. Artistic time can be described
as follows: static or dynamic; not valid; the speed of time movement; prospective
–
retrospective
–
cyclical; past
–
present
–
future (in which time the characters and actions
are concentrated).
Time is a leading principle in literature. Artistic space is one of the important
components of the work. We will be able to see its place in the text, the place where the
incident happened, in detail in the plot. Artistic time and artistic space are the most
important features of the artistic image that provide a holistic perception of artistic
reality and regulate the composition of the work. When we carefully study the
interpretation of the work of art, we can see that the author used various lexical units,
and stylistic and static units to illuminate the phenomenon of temporality. If we take the
work of the Uzbek writer Shukrullo "Buried without Shrouds", in this work the author
writes "How many years have passed since then, but no matter where he went, whether
it was Moscow, Ferghana, or Sochi where he rested, he still those barbed wire walls that
still want to cling to my skirts in my dreams, like buildings whose windows have been
blown down by the fire, whose sides have been blown away by tundra storms, and whose
walls have only darkened..." the high points of the importance of power show the reader
living pictures of that period through the devices of temporality and locative.
The following passage from the story "Works of the World" by the writer O'tkir
Hashimov also serves to show the experiences of the spiritual character as a symbol of
time and space. "What about the morning, honey, it rained. It rained heavily. You loved
the spring rain... Then the sun came out. Look, the sun is shining..." (O'Hoshimov). In the
formation of this text, there is a special service of time-meaning units. In the first
sentence, the information about the natural phenomenon that happened in this part of
the day is expressed using the lexeme of the morning. The events described in the next
sentences also happened in sequence at the same time. That is: in the morning → it
rained → it rained hard → the sun came out → it shone.
Lexemes denoting space is also used as a text-forming tool. Usually, writers try to
describe in detail the place where the event takes place. If a lexeme with a spatial
meaning is given, its description will be given. This is how the text is created.
Conversations involve mutual contact and distance communication.
DISCUSSION
The artistic chronotope represents the fundamental element underlying these
expressions. The function of the artistic chronotope is to guarantee the vitality of the
poem and to emdiv the depicted reality in the eyes of the reader. As can be observed,
the word art is a dynamic, transient art form, in contrast to the more static and enduring
forms of art such as plastic and spatial arts.
However, the literary-poetic image, which is officially revealed in time (as a
sequence of text) with its content, reproduces the spatio-temporal picture of the world,
as well as symbolically, ideologically, and in terms of value. Traditional words such as
"spring" (a reflection of positive reality), "dim" (used about the air, and also represents
uncertainty and depression in the hero's life), "floor," "window," and "door" (the border

between one and the other) have long been the point of application of meaningful forces
in spatial symbols. To take the English author René Andrié's work as an example, the
concepts of time and space complement each other as the story unfolds.
CONCLUSION
This article has demonstrated that an analysis of the conceptualisation of time and
space relations in modern artistic discourse, with a focus on the interpretation of artistic
works created in English and Uzbek languages, can provide a more in-depth
understanding of literary works. This approach enables the reader to gain insight into the
spiritual and mental dimensions of the works, thereby enhancing their appreciation. Such
an approach allows for the study of the works of writers and poets, as well as the
examination of examples of language and literary language. The field of the language of
fiction is a hybrid of linguistics and literary studies, emerging from the intersection of
these two disciplines. However, it is distinct from both. The practical nature of the
language of a work of art is evidenced by its linguistic interpretation. This can be
observed in the methods of linguodidactic analysis of the work and in the analysis of its
artistic image tools. This quality is characteristic of all forms of art.
In general, the phenomenon of time and space has been the subject of study.
