Abstract:
This article analyzes the role and importance of modern didactic tools in the
educational process. The role of information and communication technologies, interactive
methods, multimedia resources and digital platforms in increasing educational efficiency is
revealed.
Key words:
Modern didactic tools, educational efficiency, information and communication
technologies, interactive methods, multimedia, digital education, innovative approach,
educational process, pedagogical technologies.
The 21st century is the century of digital technologies, and fundamental reforms are taking
place in all areas, especially in the education system. Traditional teaching methods are
gradually giving way to innovative, interactive and teaching methods based on information and
communication technologies. In this process, didactic tools play a decisive role in increasing
the effectiveness of teaching. In particular, the use of modern didactic tools leads to the
improvement of the content and forms of education, an increase in students' motivation to learn,
and an increase in the level of mastery.
The concept of a didactic tool and its importance is that. In pedagogy, the concept of a
"didactic tool" refers to all technical, technological, visual and audio tools, teaching and
methodological materials used in the teaching process. Didactic tools facilitate the teacher's
explanation of the topic, increase students' interest in the topic, and play an important role in
consolidating knowledge and applying it in practice. Modern students are a generation growing
up in the world of digital technologies. Therefore, their worldview and way of perceiving
information also differ from traditional methods. Therefore, there is a need to use modern
didactic tools for their effective teaching.
Types of modern didactic tools
1. Information and communication technology (ICT) tools
This category includes computers, tablets, interactive whiteboards, projectors, and internet
resources. For example, a teacher can use PowerPoint presentations, YouTube videos,
electronic textbooks, and tests to explain a topic in an interesting and understandable way in a
lesson. Through interactive whiteboards, students are directly involved in the process.
2. Multimedia tools

Multimedia tools are audio, video, animation, graphics, pictures, interactive simulators, and
other visual materials. With the help of such tools, students develop visual and auditory
comprehension skills. Especially in subjects such as biology, geography, and chemistry,
explaining complex processes in 3D models is very effective.
3. Interactive learning platforms
Platforms such as Google Classroom, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Moodle are widely used in
distance and blended learning. Through them, the teacher can give assignments, organize tests,
and students can send their answers electronically. In addition, using applications such as
Kahoot, Quizizz, Mentimeter, it is possible to conduct game tests, which significantly increases
students' interest in the lesson.
4. Virtual and augmented reality tools (VR/AR)
Virtual reality technologies (VR) create the impression that the student is immersed in an
environment close to real life. For example, in a history lesson, a student can “travel” to the
ancient city of Rome or study the human div in 3D in a biology lesson. This makes it easier to
remember knowledge.
5. STEAM-educational tools
STEM/STEAM tools (Lego Education, Arduino, micro:bit) teach students practical and
engineering thinking. Using these tools, especially in technology, physics, and computer
science classes, develops students' creative thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The
impact of modern tools on students is this. Studies show that lessons taught with interactive and
visual aids increase the level of students' retention of knowledge. They also allow for active
participation during the lesson, expressing their opinions, and participating in discussions. This
has a positive effect on personal development and independent thinking. Modern didactic tools
are important not only for acquiring knowledge, but also for forming competencies, that is,
acquiring skills that can be used in real life. The role of the teacher The presence of modern
tools is useful only when they are combined with their correct selection and effective use. The
teacher's innovative approach and skills in using technologies are important here. The teacher
must constantly study new methods and tools and be able to adapt them to his lessons.
Also, when choosing a tool, the following criteria should be taken into account:
• Relevance to the content of the topic
• Correspondence to age characteristics
• Ensuring active participation of students
• Developing independent thinking and creativity
Modern didactic tools have become an integral part of the education system. Through
them, lessons can be organized more interestingly, effectively and in a way that is close to
practice. Students are encouraged to be active, creative, and independent in their research with
the help of modern tools. This ensures not only the level of knowledge, but also personal

development. Therefore, every teacher must use modern tools wisely and take the quality of
education to a new level by improving their professional qualifications. After all, today's
student is the creator of tomorrow's society. Their quality education is ensured through modern
approaches.
