In modern society, where interpersonal interaction plays a key role in the formation of

personality and successful functioning in various spheres of life, the development of dialogic

speech acquires special significance. Dialogic speech, unlike monologue, is a form of speech

interaction characterized by alternation of remarks, active listening and mutual understanding.

Communication in all its diversity of manifestations acts as a determining factor in the

formation and development of dialogic speech. The communication process is a natural

environment in which the student learns the language norms and rules necessary for

constructing coherent and meaningful statements. By entering into a dialogue with others, be it

parents, peers or other members of society, the child not only enriches his vocabulary, but also

learns to correctly construct sentences, use grammatical constructions and coordinate his

statements with the context of the situation. Through active participation in dialogues, children

learn the rules of conversation, such as the order of remarks, the use of speech etiquette and

taking into account the position of the interlocutor.

“Although starting a language in early grades has many advantages, we cannot rely on

an early start alone to increase the levels of English language proficiency of our students, nor

even the selection of an appropriate program model”. [1; 7]

Effective dialogic speech is impossible without developed listening and understanding

skills. Communication, in turn, is a powerful tool for developing these skills. In the process of

dialogue, a person is forced not only to actively listen to the interlocutor in order to understand

his point of view, but also to analyze his statements, highlight key information and draw

conclusions. The more often a person participates in dialogues, the better he learns to

understand not only the literal meaning of words, but also the hidden motives and intentions of

the interlocutor. Dialogic speech involves not just the exchange of information, but an active

discussion of various points of view, argumentation of one's position and critical analysis of the

interlocutor's statements. Participation in discussions and debates contributes to the

development of critical thinking, the ability to analyze information, identify logical errors and

formulate one's own arguments. Moreover, dialogic speech encourages reflection, that is, self-

analysis and rethinking of one's own position in light of new arguments and facts.

Dialogic speech plays an important role in the process of socialization and personality

development. By engaging in dialogue with other people, a person learns social norms and

values, learns to interact with others and adapt to various social situations. The ability to

conduct a dialogue allows you to establish contacts, build relationships and effectively resolve

conflicts. Moreover, dialogic speech contributes to the development of self-awareness and the

formation of one's own identity.

There are some factors that influence dialogic speech:
• Creating a favorable communicative environment. It is necessary to stimulate

communication between children and adults, providing them with the opportunity to participate

in various types of dialogic activities, such as games, discussions, projects, etc.

• Active listening and support. It is important to teach children and adults to listen

carefully to each other, show interest in the statements of the interlocutor and ask clarifying

questions.

• Use of various communication strategies. It is necessary to introduce children and

adults to various communication strategies, such as argumentation, persuasion, compromise, etc.

• Reflection and self-analysis. It is important to encourage children and adults to reflect

on their communication skills, analyze their mistakes and find ways to correct them.

Communication, permeating all spheres of human activity, is a powerful factor in the

development of dialogic speech. From the assimilation of language norms to the formation of

critical thinking and socialization of the individual, communication plays a key role in the

development of the ability to effectively conduct a dialogue. The development of dialogic

speech is an important task that requires an integrated approach and the active use of

communication strategies. By investing in the development of communication skills, we

thereby invest in the formation of a successful, harmonious and socially responsible personality.
