Annotation.

This thesis analyzes the importance of teaching methods based on a creative

approach, their integration into the modern education system, and their role in the pedagogical

process. Applying creativity in education helps learners develop independent learning skills,

analytical thinking, and adaptability to real-life situations. Today, this approach serves as an

essential tool for nurturing competitive and modern-thinking individuals.

creativity, innovative approach, teaching methods, independent thinking, learner-

centered education

One of the main tasks facing today’s education system is the development of students’ creative

thinking. In Presidential Decree No. PQ–5117 dated November 6, 2021, President Shavkat

Mirziyoyev emphasized the idea of “New Uzbekistan – an Enlightened Society” and identified

the introduction of innovative methods in school education as a top priority. Such approaches

play an important role in preparing the younger generation for life and integrating the learning

process with practical experience.

Furthermore, Presidential Decree No. PQ–123 dated March 3, 2024, also outlines a number of

tasks aimed at the widespread implementation of creative and modern teaching methods in

education.

Teaching based on a creative approach is a set of methods aimed at sparking students’ interest

in knowledge, encouraging them to think, and guiding them toward generating new ideas.

Applying creativity in education means organizing lessons in a new format, enabling students to

express their thoughts frSeely, and using non-standard, innovative techniques.

For example, through Problem-Based Learning (PBL), students analyze practical issues related

to the lesson topic and propose solutions. This process develops their critical thinking and

analytical skills. Similarly, using the “thinking charts” methodology, students can structure the

knowledge they have learned and express their ideas in a planned and organized manner.

In addition, the integration of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) brings

together technology, art, and scientific approaches into the learning process, providing students

with practical, real-world knowledge. These methods align school lessons with real-life

activities.

Creative teaching methods are distinguished by their positive psychological and pedagogical

impact. This approach also contributes to the development of emotional intelligence in students.

When a teacher organizes the lesson creatively, they consider not only knowledge acquisition

but also the students’ emotional well-being. Such an approach engages learners, allows them to

express their thoughts freely, and enhances their sense of self-worth.

Moreover, through creative methods:

Learner-centered education is implemented, meaning an approach is selected based on each

student’s individual abilities and interests; Students gain the opportunity to apply their

knowledge in real-life situations;

The learning process shifts from monologue to dialogue, which enhances mutual

communication;

Independent thinkers, creative individuals, and those with leadership skills are nurtured.

Another important aspect is that the creative approach demands continuous learning and

research not only from students but also from teachers. A lesson should not merely consist of

delivering information, but rather be organized in an interactive, engaging, and inspiring way to

significantly increase its effectiveness.

In many cases, creative teaching technologies include:

Flipped classroom – where students study the theory independently before class, while

classroom time is devoted to discussions and practical exercises.

Inquiry-based learning – students gain new knowledge by asking their own questions and

exploring the answers;

Design thinking – a creative process that involves analysis, idea generation, prototyping, and

testing to solve a specific problem.

Such methods stimulate learners’ analytical and creative thinking and increase their motivation

to achieve results.

International experience also shows that in countries where creative methods have been

implemented, the quality of education and students’ level of independent thinking are

significantly higher. For example, in countries such as Finland, South Korea, and Singapore,

creative and learner-centered education is established as a core principle.

Teaching methods based on a creative approach

are an integral part of modern education,

increasing students' engagement and shaping them into independent and responsible individuals.

These methods change the younger generation's attitude toward learning, making the

educational process not only theoretical but also practical and closely connected to real life.

Therefore, every teacher must be open to innovation, adopt creative methods, and actively

implement them in practice.

Creative methods require teachers to continuously improve themselves, be proficient in

technology, and conduct lessons using advanced tools. For example,

gamification

elements can

enhance students' interest and participation through digital tools (such as

Wordwall, ClassDojo,

Mentimeter

).
