Uzbek dance schools develop in the "master-student" tradition, in which the art of dance is

mastered even more perfectly. Having mastered the most subtle aspects of dance from the

master, the student also receives guidance from the master artist. The main criterion in the

preservation of our national heritage and values to this day is the mentor-student tradition.

In recent years, great attention has been paid in Uzbekistan to the objective study of the

historical roots of Uzbek theatrical art, its introduction to the world, and the improvement of the

sphere based on modern requirements. This shows the importance of preserving the traditions

of Uzbek theatrical art and analyzing them from a historical point of view. Also, at the

expanded meeting of the Republican Council for Spirituality and Enlightenment, held on

December 22, 2023, under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, it was

noted that "it is necessary to develop a separate program document on the development of our

national idea, which will serve as a methodological basis for the sphere of spirituality and

culture."

Art critic L. Avdeeva writes in her book "From the History of Uzbek National Dance": "Dance

is an art that exists in time and space, in which the artistic image is created by rhythmically

organized visual and expressive movements of the human div." True, dance cannot be

explained by such a short rule. This rule only describes the appearance of the dance.

Dance is not an art unique to a single nation, but a product of universal artistic creation,

a type of art common to all nations of the world.

A person created the art of full-fledged dance only when they felt the need to express the

beauty of life, their place in this vast world, their feelings, subtle feelings, and philosophical

thoughts through div movements. Meeting this mysterious need has become a part of human

life.

With the development of world civilization, the art of dance also developed. Various

schools and trends emerged within Uzbek dance art itself, and due to development, local dances

grew to the status of national dance. The art of dance flourished especially during the Eastern

Renaissance, that is, during the era of Amir Timur and the Timurids. Women played a

particularly important role in it. In the dances, the diversity of historical layers was clearly

visible. Thanks to dance enthusiasts, Uzbek national dance continued to develop, and

remarkable dances emerged that have survived to this day.

Dances arise in the sense of imitation of certain movements and situations in everyday

life and work and turn into dance movements. Later, they were further refined and refined.

From the beginning of the 20th century, Uzbek stage dance developed as a separate

independent art form. Many devotees of the art of dance, such as Muhiddin Qoriyoqubov,

Yusufjon qiziq Shakarjonov, Usta Olim Komilov, Tamaraxonim, Isohor Oqilov, Mukarrama

Turg'unboyeva, and Gavkhar Rakhimova, ensured its successful development. Thanks to the

unique style of each dedicated choreographer, choreographer, and teacher, the dances of the

artists they trained also acquire colorfulness. By the 1960s, not only dance practitioners but also

theorists contributed to its development. Thanks to their work, manuals, textbooks, and

monographs dedicated to dance were created, which, in turn, contributed to the development of

dance education and upbringing. In particular, the scientific research of art historian Lyubov

Dancing is very enjoyable for professional dancers, as this art form means constant self-

improvement and continuous practice to improve dance movements. If you want to reach the

heights of this art, you need to spend at least 4 hours a day and no less than 2 hours three times

a week for children. The qualities of a true dancer, along with talent, are such indicators as

patience, desire, work capacity, and love for what you do. There are many types of dances that

can be chosen according to a person's age and taste. There are dances that live forever.

However, there are also dance styles that appear within 1-2 years and then disappear. But can

the tango, waltz, and classical ballet types of dance die? Of course not. Works of art, created at

a complex, perfect level, live forever.
