Abstract

This article examines the educational problems and conclusions of Uzbek folk tales. The report examines the didactic results, moral lessons, medical effects, and the contribution of the report to the spiritual and intellectual development of children. The oral storytelling, images, and symbolic meanings of Uzbek folk art are studied, showing how fairy tales express national values, develop critical thinking, and instill such qualities as honesty, courage, and kindness. The study uses qualitative research, and the importance of folk tales in modern education is proven on the basis of qualitative analysis and pedagogical theories. The results emphasize that by expanding Uzbek fairy tales into the educational process, it is possible to preserve the national heritage and implement spiritual and patriotic education more effectively.

PEDAGOGICAL ELEMENTS IN UZBEK FOLK TALES AND THEIR

EDUCATIONAL SIGNIFICANCE

Abstract:

This article examines the educational problems and conclusions of Uzbek folk tales.

The report examines the didactic results, moral lessons, medical effects, and the contribution of

the report to the spiritual and intellectual development of children. The oral storytelling, images,

and symbolic meanings of Uzbek folk art are studied, showing how fairy tales express national

values, develop critical thinking, and instill such qualities as honesty, courage, and kindness.

Аннотация:

В этой статье рассматриваются образовательные элементы узбекских

народных сказок и их значение. В исследовании анализируются дидактические

принципы, моральные уроки и психологические эффекты, присутствующие в сказках, и

изучается их вклад в духовное и интеллектуальное развитие детей. Рассматриваются

повествовательные приемы, образы и символические значения узбекского фольклора, и

показано, как сказки передают национальные ценности, развивают критическое

мышление и прививают такие качества, как честность, смелость и доброта. Исследование

использует качественную методологию и, основываясь на литературном анализе и

педагогических теориях, доказывает важность народных сказок в современном

образовании. Результаты подчеркивают, что путем вовлечения узбекских сказок в

образовательный процесс можно сохранить национальное наследие и более эффективно

осуществлять духовное и патриотическое воспитание.

Folk tales, one of the unique examples of Uzbek folk oral art, have played an important role in

the spiritual and moral formation of children for centuries. This folklore genre is not only a

means of entertainment, but also has a strong pedagogical potential, in which educational,

didactic and psychological elements are harmoniously manifested. Through the artistic structure,

images and plots of Uzbek fairy tales, national values, human qualities and spiritual ideals are

transmitted between generations, and children are given important life lessons. The importance

of traditional methods of education in modern pedagogy is growing. From this point of view,

the study of Uzbek folk tales is of urgent importance in determining their role and effectiveness

in raising children as spiritual, patriotic, socially responsible individuals. The symbolic

language, didactic plots and moral views used in fairy tales have a subtle effect on the minds of

children and serve to shape their worldview.

Although various studies have been conducted in the scientific literature on the

interrelation of folklore and pedagogy, the systematic study of pedagogical elements in Uzbek

folk tales and the possibilities of their application in the modern educational process have not

yet been sufficiently covered. Therefore, it is of great scientific and practical importance to

strengthen the theoretical foundations of national education through in-depth study of this topic

and develop ways to effectively use them in practical pedagogy. Uzbek folk tales are not only a

valuable heritage of our national culture, but also a powerful educational tool, and by

effectively using them in the educational process in modern conditions, it is possible to educate

the new generation with spiritually rich, patriotic and humane qualities. This article is aimed at

studying the pedagogical aspects of Uzbek folklore, which contributes to the development of

effective ways to use traditional values ​ ​ ​ ​ in the education of young people.

Educational functions and pedagogical aspects of Uzbek folk tales.

Uzbek folk tales have a

deep spirituality and strong pedagogical potential in terms of content, and they are a natural and

effective means of raising children. The main educational functions and pedagogical aspects of

fairy tales can be explained in more detail as follows:

1. Moral education function:

Fairy tales convey to children the concepts of good and evil,

right and wrong, justice and injustice in a simple and understandable way. For example:

Uzbek folk tales are a subtle, natural and powerful means of educational influence.

They

unconsciously, without any strict rules, naturally educate children with spiritual values. Their

importance in modern pedagogy is increasing, because fairy tales are one of the most ancient

and reliable ways to form children as spiritual, patriotic, moral individuals.

The main moral values ​ ​ expressed in Uzbek folk tales and their impact on the minds

of children

. Through Uzbek folk tales, children have been taught human qualities and good

qualities for centuries. In these tales, such basic moral values ​ ​ as diligence, wisdom, loyalty,

courage are conveyed through artistic means. While in fairy tales such as "The Old Man and the

Old Woman" diligence and hard work are glorified, in the fairy tale "Aldar Kose" the

appropriate use of intelligence and cunning is appreciated. Fairy tales such as "The Red Rose"

and "The Seven Brothers" promote family loyalty and brotherhood.

The influence of fairy tales on children's minds is very deep, they convey to children the

concept of good and evil in a subtle and interesting way. Through fairy tales such as "Sweet

with Zuhra" and "Barchinoy", courage and determination are promoted, and through the fairy

tale "Golden Hand" - the ideas of international friendship and humanity. As children assimilate

the events in fairy tales, qualities such as love for nature and respect for adults begin to form in

their minds. The pedagogical aspect of fairy tales is that they allow them to educate children in

a natural way, without strict rules, in accordance with the psychology of their age. Fairy tales

such as "White Apple, Red Apple" teach loyalty to parents, and fairy tales such as "Forest

Queen" teach the need to take care of nature. Children learn to make the right decisions in life,

absorbing the experience of fairy tale heroes.

Moral values ​ ​ in Uzbek folk tales play an important role in shaping children as well-

rounded individuals. They have a subtle influence on the minds of children, teaching them not

only national values, but also universal human qualities. Fairy tales are one of the most ancient,

reliable and effective means of raising children, and their importance does not disappear even in

modern pedagogy.

Methods of integrating folk tales into the modern educational process.

The main focus in integrating folk tales into modern education should be on adapting them to

modern requirements without losing their pedagogical potential. This process involves

combining traditional values with innovative processes.

There are a number of innovative methods for the effective use of Uzbek folk tales in the

modern educational process:

1. Integration adapted to the school curriculum

• Reading and analyzing fairy tales with modern interpretations in reading lessons

• Creating problems based on fairy tale plots in mathematics lessons (for example,

mathematical problems from the adventure "Aldar Kose and Three Apples")

• Using images of nature in fairy tales in natural science lessons

2. Using interactive methods

• Creating animated fairy tales in multimedia electronic textbooks

• Traveling to the world of fairy tales using virtual reality technologies

• Bringing fairy tales to life through interactive distributed role-playing games

3. Application in educational work

• Conducting moral and ethical training based on fairy tale characters

• Staging traditional fairy tales in a modern form in school performances

• Organizing trainings based on the characters of fairy tale heroes

4. Project-based learning

• Preparing creative works within the framework of the "Values ​ ​ in Fairy Tales" project

• Holding retelling (fan fiction) competitions in a modern form

• Organizing discussions about the "role" of fairy tale heroes in modern life

5. In cooperation with parents

Conclusion

Uzbek folk tales have been an important expression of national spirituality, moral views and

educational traditions for centuries. This study deeply analyzed the pedagogical, didactic and

psychological aspects of these tales and substantiated their importance in the modern

educational process. Fairy tales have a strong influence on the formation of children's moral

outlook, the development of aesthetic taste and the raising of social consciousness, and are

considered an important tool in educating them as well-rounded, patriotic and spiritual

individuals. Also, by integrating folk tales into modern education, it is possible to develop

students' critical thinking, form problem-solving skills and establish education based on

national values. Interactive methods, project-based learning, and approaches such as fairy tale

therapy can be particularly effective in this process. In conclusion, by adapting Uzbek folk tales

to educational programs and making them an integral part of the educational process, we will

not only preserve our rich cultural heritage, but also create the basis for educating the younger

generation as spiritually mature, socially active, and morally pure people. Therefore, in-depth
