Abstract:
The richness of the artistic text not only testifies to the skill, ingenuity and
intelligence of the artist, but also comes from the gravity of the poet’s thoughts about society
and its reality. Multi-layering is important in the analysis and interpretation of the artistic and
aesthetic world of Askar Mahkam. In this article we will look at how the poet, who accepted the
life of his contemporaries as a tragedy, reflects on it through the meaning of the text.
Key words:
literary text, skill, artistic and aesthetic world, complexity, meaning, wind, rain,
image, character.
"There are dogs barking on the streets.
The old woman felt her zulfini.
Whispered the price of the baker:
"Two for one..."
The poet describes the time between dusk and dawn by saying "The streets are full
of dogs". Usually, dogs wake up at night and go to sleep around dawn. And the word "tagin"
helps to clarify the meaning, that is, the dogs that slept at night are barking again, which means
that there is still time for dawn. "The old woman felt the zulfini" - the old woman who is awake
or has just woken up, feels the zulfini, humans do not have the ability to see in the dark, at this
time we rely only on our skin sense. It is as if the old woman is touching her hair that has
become a little tangled at night in the dark. If we rely on the meanings hidden in the artistic text
layer, we understand that the old woman is riding somewhere and from her whispering "Two
goes for one..." and the baker needs to be taken to the market. So, there is no man in this family.
The old woman, who took care of her livelihood and all her burdens, thought to sell it as high as
possible. The real purpose of the poem and the poet is hidden in the lines. In the very first
paragraph, it becomes clear that the author's intention is not to describe his childhood or some
situation artistically, but to describe a hard-working, hard-working, strict grandmother as an
example of an old woman. The following poem, which begins with "I remembered my
grandmother again", also describes her grandmother Nigorbibi.
A pole hung on the wall,
It's already rotten.
The will is now in God,
One leg is standing in the grave.
The poet increases the power of the poem by describing the condition of his dying
grandmother as an example of a rotted (ready to break) log and using the phrase "Bir ayogi
gorda". Also, word images such as wind, rain, tree, sky, autumn, moon, and night are often
found in the work of Askar Mahkam.
It started to rain again,

a dagger in the sky's throat...
These pollinators are looking for a place to live.
Where did your life drop anchor?
At first glance, this excerpt from the poem "An Unsent Letter to My Grandmother"
seems to describe a natural phenomenon. But if we pay attention to the meanings hidden in the
layers of verses as a whole, it seems like a logical continuation of the poem analyzed above.
Usually, motifs such as rain, autumn, wind, and night, which are common in poetry, are a
figurative expression of the psyche, current state and mood of the lyrical hero. The image of
"Rain" represents various experiences in the poetry of poets. In Askar Mahkam's poetry, he
mainly expresses situations as a negative image, but there are also exceptional situations. , - the
falling rain and the lightning like a cracked dagger point to the fear and anxiety in the inner
world of the lyrical hero, who feels that some kind of terrible upheaval and unrest is ahead.
"These dustbins, looking for a place of residence, on which shore of your life did you
cast your anchor?" 'rmagan refers to the fate of his grandmother. "Destination" is the destination
of all of us, and "to cast anchor to the shore" means to stop swimming in the ocean of life, to be
more precise, to be satisfied, to turn a blind eye to the world. In the poet's poems, the image of
rain is often associated with situations such as separation, loss, and death. In the poem "The
Last Legend" presented below, we pay attention to the artistry of the images of "moon", "river"
and "rain".
"Cracked from the king of the moon,
like a sword held by a wounded soldier.
The shining rivers are silent,
like a battered old woman..."
The art of revitalization used in the image of the moon, likening the broken moon to a
sword held by a wounded soldier, and the harmony in the verse increase the aesthetic impact of
the poem to an unexpected level. If the moon looks like a sword, it means that it is not yet full.
The reader wants to re-read this verse and understand its meaning. The use of diagnostic art in
relation to the moon and other inanimate objects points to its main, hidden meaning, that the
moon represents someone who has not yet reached old age, and the meaning of this sign means
that that person has passed away. The "shining rivers" in the following verses represent the sad
fate of a person who speaks a lot, but no one listens, and whose words are blown away by the
winds.
"It rained on the empty lakes,
the eddy squeezed the shores.
My trail to the faded tracks
the worms crawled out.'
This passage describes a purely natural phenomenon. As we mentioned above, rain
expresses a figurative meaning along with the state of death. The poem "Worms have crawled
into the traces of my lost tracks" confirms the transformation of my inner self with the
examples of the images of the cracked "moon" and the shining "river".
