Today, with the rapid development of information and communication technologies, which
is one of the unique features of education, special attention is being paid to the comprehensive
approach to the educational process and its organization. The 21st century is the age of high
technologies, and our modern youth are taking steps not only in accordance with the spirit of the
time, but also in accordance with the progress in the electronic world. For this reason, a different
approach to the process of educating young people is required. The role of the teacher in the
lessons is also changing. The teacher now acts mainly as a guide. It is time for teachers who aim
to keep pace with the times to be ready to revive any part of the lesson through ICT. In the
Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 10, 2012 "On
measures to further improve the system of learning foreign languages", it is stated that "Through
the introduction of advanced methods of teaching using modern pedagogical and information
and communication technologies, to fundamentally improve the system of training the young
generation in foreign languages, and on the basis of this, "creating conditions and opportunities
for their world development achievements and extensive use of world information resources,
development of international cooperation and communication", and the need to implement a
number of important tasks for this.
In this document, starting from the 2013-2014 academic year, teaching of foreign languages
first in the form of games and then using ICT tools as the main subject of education from the first
grades of general secondary schools is determined.
Smart use of Internet resources in teaching foreign languages is an integral part of the
educational process today. While describing the main important aspects of using Internet
resources, it should be emphasized that it has rich and diverse materials. This helps the teacher to

organize the lesson effectively and interestingly using different materials (videos, audio
recordings, books, articles and textbooks). As a result, students can learn the language better not
only theoretically, but also practically. Today's society is rapidly developing due to the
emergence of modern information technologies. Nowadays, the use of computer technology and
its new possibilities in teaching is of great importance. It helps teachers to find different ways to
improve the quality of teaching. For example, in the modern teaching process, the project
methodology of teaching foreign languages and Internet resources are aimed at the
individualization of teaching, taking into account the skills, level of education, and interests of
young people. In addition, it should be noted that the task of teachers is to create a supportive
classroom environment, where they constantly decide, guide, explain, connect the old with the
new, recognize nonverbal communication, and provide moral support.
Online platforms (Duolingo, Busuu, Memrise, etc.) make language learning fun through
interactive exercises. Such tools encourage students to learn and make it easier to test their
knowledge. It also comes in handy when students are doing independent learning tasks. They can
use the possibilities of digital technologies in their independent work and development. A
student can practice and perfect the language he is learning at a time and place convenient for
him. There are various podcasts, videos and foreign language talks on the Internet. Through
these tools, students can learn proper pronunciation and develop their listening comprehension
skills. It is important for a student learning a foreign language to listen in the language he is
learning for at least half an hour a day. Because it teaches the student to improve his
pronunciation and to think in that language. As a result, the student's speech is formed, speaking
skills increase. The rational use of Internet resources makes the process of learning foreign
languages significantly more effective.
But at the same time, students and teachers should focus on selecting and systematically using
information on the Internet. Also, these technologies make it possible for teachers to adapt
educational programs and present them in a more convenient format. However, there are also
some problems, one of which is the possibility of making students too dependent on technology.
Therefore, it is necessary to know the norms in the use of Internet technologies and to apply
them in a flexible way for educational purposes.
Currently, ICT is widely used not only for traditional classes, but also for conducting
extracurricular activities with students. When working on educational projects, students refer to
various sources of information: electronic encyclopedias, Internet search engines. Students use
text and image editors, present their work using photos or videos. The Internet is a global
international network that allows searching for necessary information, using information from
various information sources. There are many e-learning programs for learning a foreign language.
The use of relevant information via e-mail is also very popular in the process of teaching a
foreign language. Multimedia technologies make it possible to listen to speech in a foreign
language, which also makes it possible to separate words into words and compare the
pronunciation and spelling of words. Also, a student's spoken word or phrase can be recorded for
later review and correction. Using multimedia technology, sound cards allow users to record
their speech and then compare it with the pronunciation of other speakers.
Conclusion.
The graphics capabilities of computers can represent any type of activity in the
form of pictures or animations. This is especially important when learning new vocabulary. The

use of ICT in grammar lessons is very useful in learning any subject. Properly placed material,
successfully used color design, use of charts and tables will help teachers to conduct their lessons
in a more interesting and colorful way. In addition, controlling the level of grammar skills
learned with the help of ICT can be more interesting.
