PEDAGOGICAL BASIS OF A VALUE-BASED APPROACH TO PROTECTING
PRESCHOOL CHILDREN FROM HARMFUL INFORMATION

Annotation:
Today, the process of globalization is also reflected in the field of education.
Modern information technologies and the study of foreign languages are important not
only for academic success, but also for professional activities. This article analyzes the
protection of children in preschool educational organizations from harmful information
encountered in the information space, the role, methods and effectiveness of value-based
pedagogical approaches in this process. The author, based on available scientific and
theoretical sources, sheds light on the pedagogical foundations of protective mechanisms and
gives practical recommendations

Сегодня процесс глобализации находит свое отражение и в сфере
образования. Современные информационные технологии и изучение иностранных
языков важны не только для успешной учебы, но и в профессиональной деятельности.
В статье анализируется защита дошкольников от вредоносной информации,
встречающейся в информационном пространстве, роль, методы и эффективность
ценностно-педагогических подходов в этом процессе. Автор на основе имеющихся
научно-теоретических источников освещает педагогические основы защитных
механизмов и дает практические рекомендации.

Introduction.
The interests and abilities of preschool children are manifested in the
practical and theoretical interaction of educators with their students, taking into account
spiritual resources and the requirements and needs of the present time. The rapid
development of the modern information environment creates various threats that affect
human health and consciousness. In particular, protecting our children from harmful, violent,
false or psychologically negative content in the information flow is recognized as one of the
urgent issues [1]. Since the level of information influence on the formation of the
consciousness of preschool children is high, the issue of protecting them from information
should be considered within the framework of a pedagogical approach [2].

Values-based education is a means of forming not only national minorities, but also moral
immunity. Therefore, by educating children in the spirit of values in preschool
educational organizations, it is possible to consciously protect them from harmful
information.
Research methodology
The following methods were used in this study:
Theoretical analysis: theoretical foundations were developed based on pedagogical and
psychological literature on the topic.
Analysis of the presented documents: Federal standards of preschool education, UNESCO
recommendations, and legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan were analyzed [3].
Empirical observation: Pedagogical practices in preschool educational institutions were
observed.
The purpose of the study is to substantiate and propose a value-based pedagogical
model for protecting preschoolers from harmful information.
Results and analysis
The role of information security in the upbringing of children
Modern children actively use media and Internet resources. According to UNICEF,
from the age of 3, children access the Internet via smartphones, tablets and television [4]. At
the same time, the risk of inappropriate, age-inappropriate content entering their minds through
these media is increasing. This requires the use of pedagogical protection mechanisms [5].
A value-based approach to protection
Values (morality, national customs, cultural traditions, religious and normative
views) form the basis of a child's personality. In preschool educational institutions,
educational approaches based on the following values are effective:
Moral analysis based on national fairy tales
Moral choices through dramatic games
Promoting positive images based on cartoons and illustrated materials
Giving children simple explanations on how to sort information
Such approaches develop a child's ability to consciously respond to social problems,
critical thinking, and moral decision-making [6].
Practical example: "Choosing a Hero" activity
In the pedagogical experiment, an activity called "Choosing a Hero" was conducted as a
test. In it, children are presented with two different images (positive and negative) and asked to
choose which one is a hero. This helps children to consciously sort information and evaluate it
on a value basis.
The results showed that through values-based upbringing methods, the child showed a
tendency to reject harmful information, even if he did not recognize it. Today, the problems of

youth upbringing are a common issue for almost all countries. On the topic of youth education,
the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh. Mirziyoyev, said at the 72nd session of the
UN General Assembly: "Today's youth is the largest generation in the history of mankind, as
they number 2 billion people. The future and well-being of our planet depend on what kind of
people our children will become. Our main task is to create the necessary conditions for young
people to realize their potential, to prevent the spread of the "virus" of the idea of violence.
For this, we believe that it is necessary to develop multilateral cooperation in the field of social
support for the younger generation, protection of its rights and interests. The age-old traditions
of the Uzbek people, including their traditions in the field of education, are connected with the
sacred religion of our ancestors. Greeting the elderly, respecting them, taking care of the
younger and weaker, getting education and learning a profession Traditions such as da'wah,
calling for honest work, and being kind to neighbors have been instilled in Uzbek families,
regardless of their religious affiliation, in young people. Taking into account the important role
of Islamic education in the upbringing of youth, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
Sh.M. Mirziyoyev put forward a number of ideas and initiatives in 2017-2018. In particular,
the relevant resolutions of the Head of State and the Cabinet of Ministers were adopted on the
establishment of the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Center in Samarkand
region, the Imam Termidzi Scientific Research Center in Termez, and the Center for Islamic
Civilization in Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
In the process of informatization, one of the priority tasks is to adequately equip the
preparatory group rooms in preschool educational organizations, solve the issues of adapting
them for multimedia equipment, and increase the ICT literacy of pedagogical staff working in
preschool educational organizations. In the preschool education system The use of information
and communication technologies is expressed in several areas:
a) the use of information and communication technologies in the process of distance
education with children;
b) the use of information and communication technologies in the process of cooperation
between teachers and parents in distance education;
c) the use of information and communication technologies in the process of organizing
methodological work and working with educators to improve the quality of education.
In conclusion,
it is worth noting that information and communication technologies
facilitate the organization of the pedagogical process in the preschool education system, the
provision of continuous methodological services, planning methodological activities,
controlling the activities of teachers, medical personnel and other specialists, and conducting
accurate monitoring of the entire system. The results of the study showed that the protection
of children from harmful information in preschool educational organizations can be effective
not only through technical means, but also through pedagogical education based on values.
Therefore, all information resources created for children should be consistent with values,
and teachers should be careful when choosing information on each topic.
