Abstract

This article highlights that the upbringing of the younger generation as well-rounded individuals requires an entire system — the family, preschool educational institutions, schools, and the local community (mahalla). These institutions should educate children based on the pearls of folk pedagogy, the heritage of ancestors, the advice of great thinkers, and our national values. This, in turn, contributes to increasing the effectiveness of education.

The Role of Folk Pedagogy Pearls and The Heritage of Ancestors
in Raising Preschool Children as Well-Rounded Individuals

Abstract:

This article highlights that the upbringing of the younger generation as well-rounded individuals requires

These institutions should educate children based on the pearls of folk pedagogy, the heritage of ancestors, the
advice of great thinkers, and our national values. This, in turn, contributes to increasing the effectiveness of
education.

Introduction:

The process of deepening the reforms

being implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan also
requires fundamental changes in the field of personnel
training.

The formation of a new pedagogical mindset in future
specialists, aimed at independent thinking, striving for
innovation and constant creativity, can be achieved
through the cooperation of higher education
institutions and personnel consumers.

As is known, just as the homeland begins from the
cradle, education and upbringing, which begin from the
cradle, even before the birth of a child, will lead to
positive future results of upbringing.

The responsibility for providing early education and
upbringing to the youth of our country has been
assumed by preschool educational organizations
currently operating in our country. The form of
providing knowledge to children in preschool
educational organizations is educational activity. In the
process of educational activities, children's speech
develops, its grammatical and phonetic aspects are
refined, and their vocabulary increases, as well as their
psychological and intellectual abilities.

METHODOLOGY

Each educator must regularly read, study, supplement

and deepen their knowledge in order to provide new
knowledge to their students in educational activities.

Pedagogical scientist D. Kh. Ziyadullaeva, based on the
content of the educational profession, in her research

gives the idea that “The pedagogical profession is a

stable system of socially significant virtues that act as a

complete person.”

One of the important qualities inherent in the
pedagogical profession is love for children, interest in
their lives, and respect for each individual. Only a
person who loves a child, who can mobilize all his
strength and knowledge to educate children as loyal
citizens of the great Motherland in the future, can be a
true educator. A person who is indifferent to a child,
not interested in his future, and indifferent to the
profession of a teacher cannot be a true educator.
Every educator, along with constant work on himself,
should

- be able to educate children based on the
masterpieces of folk pedagogy, the heritage of
ancestors, the teachings of thinkers, and our national
values;

- fluent speech, the richness of the folk language, the
means of expression and imagery, the style and norms
of the literary language must be fully mastered.

In addition, in order to educate the young generation,

which is our future, as a well-rounded person, the
entire

system,

family,

preschool

educational

organization, school and neighborhood, using the
heritage of ancestors and the teachings of thinkers,
should work in such a way that children are educated
in political, spiritual, and economic aspects, as required
by society and the state.

Eastern thinkers paid great attention to the issues of
family and child education. In a number of works of our
thinkers such as Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi,
Abu Nasr al-Farabi, Abu Rayhan al-Biruni, Abu Ali ibn
Sina, Muhammad Kashgari, Yusuf Khos Hajib, Kaykovus,
Alisher Navoi, and Husayn Voiz Kashifi, the issues of
spiritual and moral education of children are raised.
and ways to solve them are shown.

DISCUSSION

Abu Rayhan Beruni connects moral concepts with
human nature. We know that human nature is formed
in the family. Therefore, he believed that the influence
and example of parents on the upbringing of a child is
extremely great. Beruni raises the issue of purity of
div and soul in his works on tariya.

If there is cleanliness, purity and order in the family,
then there will also be spiritual purity. The content of
this idea is a call for a person not to limit himself only
to keeping the div clean, but to work hard.
Movement means hard work. His idea about the soul
and movement is connected with the idea of the unity
of the purity of the human div and soul. This idea is
consistent with today's demand for the harmony
between physical health and spiritual and moral wealth
in the upbringing of a child. Beruni recommends that
parents keep the child in moderation. He said that this
can be achieved mainly by keeping the child from
strong anger, fear and sadness, and insomnia, and that
every teacher should try to find something they want
and need, and keep them away from something they
do not like.

Different attitudes of parents to the child cause
different behaviors. The thinker also scientifically
substantiated the fact that physical and mental health
comes from the moderation of the child's behavior.
Beruniy also emphasized that heredity, environment
and upbringing are equally important in raising a child.

Alisher Navoi's work also attached great importance to
moral issues. His works glorified the ideals of humanity.
Only his thoughts, "A polite person is better than all
people and more pleasant for all people," should be
implemented by every teacher in the process of
educating and raising a child. Alisher Navoi highly
glorified the ideals of humanity. He called on people to
respect each other, to lend a helping hand to each
other, and to act in the interests of others. In the works

of our thinkers, one can cite many wise sayings that
have become folk sayings and proverbs.

Also, such masterpieces as Kashifi's: "Lying will lead you
to the abyss, but honesty will save you from
misfortune" and "Etiquette is more valuable than gold"
are among them.

Abdulla Avloni says that morality is a complex of
behaviors, but good behavior does not appear by itself.
For their formation, certain conditions are needed -
upbringing. A. Avloni pays special attention to the role
of growing conditions and upbringing in raising a child
and emphasizes the incomparable role of upbringing in
the development of a child.

CONCLUSION

So, morality and etiquette are the basis of the life of the
Uzbek nation. If today's pedagogue, taking into account
the characteristics of their age, organizes the
educational process based on the heritage of our
ancestors, the teachings of our thinkers, and our
national values, while educating and educating the
future generation, the effectiveness of education will
increase. For this, it is advisable for each future
educator to independently study, analyze, apply to life
the works of our thinkers, and conduct extensive
research on himself.
