Abstract

This article analyzes Muhammad Yusuf's poem titled “If He Resembles Anyone, It Is Himself — the Uzbek”. Through the poem, the national identity, spiritual values, religious beliefs, industriousness, patriotism, and family traditions of the Uzbek people are illuminated. The poem delves into the deep inner world of the Uzbek nation, its historical roots, and its role in social life. Muhammad Yusuf glorifies the beautiful qualities of the Uzbek people, portraying them as a great nation. Each verse of the poem reveals the philosophy of life, spirit, and traditional values of the people.

Abstract:

This article analyzes Muhammad Yusuf's poem titled “If He Resembles Anyone, It Is Himself —

the

Uzbek”. Through the poem, the national identity, spiritual values, religious beliefs, industriousness, patriotism,

and family traditions of the Uzbek people are illuminated. The poem delves into the deep inner world of the Uzbek
nation, its historical roots, and its role in social life. Muhammad Yusuf glorifies the beautiful qualities of the Uzbek
people, portraying them as a great nation. Each verse of the poem reveals the philosophy of life, spirit, and
traditional values of the people.

Introduction:

Analysis of the Poem

: Muhammad

Yusuf's poetry glorifies the unique identity and
admirable traits of the Uzbek people. The poem
emphasizes the lifestyle, culture, industriousness,
patriotism, and religious values of the Uzbeks. This
article aims to explore the cultural and spiritual
characteristics of the Uzbek nation through a detailed
analysis of the poem.

“His love is unmatched, like a river,

If he resembles anyone, it is himself

the Uzbek.

I don't know other nations, but

The Uzbek lives for his children!”

Unique Features of the Uzbek Nation

: The poem

showcases the distinct qualities of the Uzbeks: “His love
is unmatched, like a river” —

a metaphor expressing

the boundless love and sincerity of the Uzbek people.
This deep emotional connection and warmth are
distinguishing features of the nation. The repetitive use

of the word “Uzbek” reinforces a strong sense of

identity and uniqueness.

“A cradle in one hand, the Qur’an in the other,

A hoe on one shoulder, faith on the other.

Like the sun, shining equally for all,

The Uzbek lives so the world may flourish!”

Patriotism and Spirituality

: The poem gives great

importance to the Uzbek people's patriotism and

spirituality. The line “The Uzbek lives so the world may
flourish!” signifies the nation’s aspiration to contribute
positively on a global scale. It also reflects the people’s

respect for their ancestral values and heritage.

line “A cradle in one hand, the Qur’an in the other”
symbolizes the Uzbek people’s dedication to both

worldly responsibilities and spiritual values. The cradle

and Qur’an together represent a life that harmonizes

Whose grandmothers' beauty surpassed a hundred.

When their descendants gather under one roof,

But they never bow to arrogance.

Their cradles are filled with little Muslims,

Like a fortress impenetrable by stone

forehead,

And say: never falter, my child

the Uzbek!”
