Developing Creative Abilities in Future Music Teachers as A
Pedagogical Problem

Abstract:
In the training of future music teachers, in particular, it is necessary to pay special attention to the
creation of educational and scientific literature that meets the requirements of the present time and their direct
introduction into the teaching process, to provide educational institutions with modern pedagogical information
and communication tools, and to improve the quality of education. This article discusses the development of
creative abilities in future music teachers, improving pedagogical creativity, and improving teaching methods and
tasks.

Introduction:
In the era of the flow of information in
the XXI st century, many innovations are entering all
aspects of our social life, including the field of
education. Along with these innovations, new concepts
that illuminate them are also being used in our
scientific language. In particular, in the field of
pedagogy, that is, education, the concept of
“creativity” has been given special attention in the last
two years. This concept has been widely used in
educational processes to a certain extent in recent
years. However, a number of scientific studies have
been conducted to analyze the content and meaning of
this concept and determine the level of formation of
creativity in people. Nowadays, teaching students to
think freely, passing lessons using new methods and
techniques serves to form musical and pedagogical
knowledge and skills in students, as well as their
creativity and creative abilities. To understand the
general essence of the process of developing the
creative qualities of future music teachers, it is first
necessary to understand the meaning of the concept of
"creativity".
So, how can future music teachers be trained in
musical-pedagogical and creative thinking in the
context of the emergence of creativity-based education
in Uzbekistan? Nowadays, teaching students to think
freely, conducting lessons using new methods and
techniques, not only helps to form students' musical-
pedagogical knowledge and skills, but also helps to
form their creativity and creative abilities.
Creativity is the ability of a person to creatively
approach problematic situations through their
thinking.
METHODS
“Creativity is a unique model of thinking activity,
associated with the manifestation of the beauty of the
mind and psyche in various conditions, which allows us
to study unknown and complex features unknown to
most people”, “creativity is mental gymnast

necessary not only for wise people, but even for an
ordinary creative person”, “Creativity is, first of all, the
upbringing of a creative attitude to work, the ability to
transform new knowledge, striving for a goal, the
struggle for victory, self-improvement and self-
awareness”

In this regard, the development of a comprehensive
and deep scientific and methodological basis for a
future music teacher in music education remains one
of the serious issues of today.
For this, it is necessary to develop and improve the
creative abilities, creative skills and pedagogical skills of
future music teachers.
Creative abilities are one of the important factors in the
professional development and effectiveness of future
music teachers, and are a necessity arising not from
their desire, but from the legitimate needs of society.

Attention to the development of creative abilities is not
a problem today, of course. One of the most important
tasks facing us as educators is to create a young
generation of cadres who are in step with the times by
introducing music teachers to the beauty of nature and
the world of musical and spiritual development, as a
result of the current demands. Because the education
of creative creativity applies to all areas of our social
life. In this way, it is possible to increase the creativity
of future music teachers, develop musical talent, and
cultivate the ability to communicate with students.
This, in turn, leads to an increase in students' musical
thinking, understanding of art, and aesthetic taste for
it.[3]
RESULTS
In higher education institutions, the development of
the creative abilities of future music teachers in the
teaching process is carried out in conjunction with
social, economic, psychological and pedagogical
factors. An integrated approach is necessary to study
the process of preparing a future music teacher for
creative activity, which is a modern level of pedagogical
science. In line with the needs of the time, music
education is currently being modernized, developing,
incorporating new pedagogical approaches and forms.
In the implementation of the future musical education
of future music teachers, musical disciplines have a
special place in the sector of higher education
institutions where personnel are trained in the field of
music. In it, the process of improving musical culture,
the content, methods and forms of musical education,
ways to achieve quality and efficiency, as well as the
laws of creative activity in relation to musical creativity
is deeply reformed.
The creativity of a future music teacher is becoming
increasingly important, as a result of which he can
revise, improve, change the well-known, creatively use
his experience, create qualitative innovations.
It is the task of every teacher to cultivate students'
interest and need for musical art and meet the
requirements for musical culture lessons. Including
teachers working with the growing younger generation,
many demands and responsibilities are imposed on
them. The teacher must understand what modern
students live with and be in tune with them.
Creativity is the knowledgeable and purposeful
creativity of future music teachers in their field, which
directly fulfills the important task of educating creative
youth.
The musical and pedagogical development of creative
future music teachers, the guarantee of the intellectual
wealth of the country, and the development of
divergent (divisive) thinking of young people through

the upbringing of creative students is the main issue of
modern pedagogy.
Creativity is the ability of a person to get out of
problematic situations using his mind and thinking and
approach them creatively.
Through creativity, one can strive for creativity,
approach life creatively, and constantly critically reflect
on and analyze oneself. Based on modern dictionaries
of psychology and pedagogy, it can be defined as the
main factor in the development of a student's creative
thinking, communication, and a creative approach to a
particular type of activity in musical and pedagogical
activities. At its core lies originality, practicality,
unusualness and free creative activity. Also, creative
thinking means approaching something from different
sides (divergent). Every person is born with their own
creative abilities. It is the responsibility of the teacher
to direct and develop them in all aspects. Focusing on
the development of students' creative abilities in all
types of education at school also serves as a fulcrum in
the development of the musical and pedagogical
activities of future creative music teachers in higher
education.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the development of musical and
pedagogical activity in students is one of the urgent
tasks of today, and based on the theoretical
foundations presented above, we can come to the
following conclusion:
In the formation of creativity in the abilities of future
music teachers, interactive educational methods and
technologies
are
of
great
importance.
The
development of creativity has a specific content,
means, pedagogical features and methods of the
teaching process.
It is necessary to systematically study the musical and
pedagogical needs, interests, and areas of particular
importance of future music teachers, while identifying
effective ways to overcome psychological obstacles to
the organization of their creative activities.
In the future, abandoning the pre-planning of
educational activities, forming and developing critical,
creative thinking in future educators, forcing them to
think creatively, come up with new ideas will be a key
factor in changing the attitude towards education,
motivating them to achieve success. It is not whether
or not the learner is creative and creative, but rather
that the lessons are organized in the spirit of creativity,
creativity, and the desire to try new ideas in the
educational process.
