Аннотация

Tropes—recurring themes, motifs, and rhetorical devices—serve as foundational elements in English literature, shaping narratives and enriching reader experience. This study examines the multifaceted roles of tropes, tracing their evolution from classical rhetoric to contemporary literary forms. Through a comprehensive analysis, the paper explores how tropes function as vehicles for thematic exploration, character development, and cultural reflection. By investigating various literary works, the study illuminates the dynamic interplay between language, meaning, and reader perception, highlighting the enduring significance of tropes in the literary canon. The research underscores the importance of understanding tropes in literary analysis, offering insights into their impact on narrative structures and reader engagement.
