Аннотация

This article explores the critical role that authentic materials play in teaching English as a second language (ESL). It discusses how real-life texts, videos, audio, and visual resources contribute to learners’ linguistic competence and communicative skills. The study highlights the cognitive, motivational, and contextual benefits of integrating authentic materials into the ESL classroom and outlines recommendations for their effective use.
