Abstract:
Oral speech plays a critical role in the academic and professional development of students
at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. Effective verbal communication is essential for
pharmacists, enabling them to interact with patients, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and
present medical information accurately. This article explores the objectives and types of oral speech
relevant to pharmacy students, emphasizing the importance of linguistic competence, professional
communication skills, and public speaking abilities in pharmaceutical education.
Introduction
In the field of pharmacy, verbal communication is an indispensable skill for conveying medical and
pharmaceutical knowledge. Students at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute must develop strong
oral speech capabilities to succeed in their academic studies and future careers. This article
examines the primary objectives of oral speech education and categorizes different types of oral
speech necessary for pharmaceutical students, including academic, professional, and interpersonal
communication.
Objectives of Oral Speech in Pharmaceutical Education
Pharmaceutical professionals must effectively communicate with colleagues, doctors, and patients.
The key objectives of oral speech training include:
Developing precise and clear communication skills for patient counseling.
Acquiring the ability to explain medication usage, dosages, and side effects.

Mastering Medical and Pharmaceutical Terminology
