Introduction.
The valuable thoughts of our esteemed President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, “Without
books, progress and high spirituality cannot be achieved”, clearly demonstrate their relevance today.
Here we are in the 21st century, which is unique in world history. Before that, our national idea
went through a unique and appropriate historical period. The worldview of the people who lived in
our country in the pre-Christian era, and the social views of our ancestors who lived in our country
in the first centuries of our era, were in harmony with the lifestyle of society. The Renaissance in the
9th-12th centuries could not fail to have its impact on the social thinking of people. Many prominent
scholars began to speak about statehood, social justice and humanism and directly embodied these
noble views in their works. Years during of people consciousness, thinking, worldview, spirituality
and national idea take shape This idea in the formation various factors in the row: religious and
secular look, Islam spirituality, justice and kindness ideas and artistic of literature role incomparable
it has been.
Today, in a period of rapid and rapid development of our country, it would be true to say that the
issue of book reading and the formation of a reading culture, which was reflected in the thoughts of
our great ancestors and wise men, has risen to the level of our state policy.
We can directly see the clear attention to this issue in the Decree of the President of the Republic of
Uzbekistan dated January 12, 2017 “On the establishment of a commission for the development of
the system of publishing and distribution of book products, the improvement and promotion of book
reading and reading culture” and the Resolution dated September 13, 2017 “On the program of
comprehensive measures for the development of the system of publishing and distribution of book
products, the improvement and promotion of book reading and reading culture”.
Of course, based on this decree and resolution, special attention is being paid to increasing the
culture of book reading and reading, which can be a unique advantage in the formation of our
national idea. It is no exaggeration to say that how correct and reasonable this policy is is confirmed
by the instructive and valuable thoughts of Ahmad ibn Ismail, who said, "A book is a companion
who does not start a conversation when you are busy, and does not call you during your working
hours. You do not need to look beautiful for it. A book is a comrade who does not make you lazy, a
friend who does not deceive you, a companion who does not tire you, and an adviser who does not
humiliate you".
Continuing our thought, it is appropriate to first of all touch upon the concept of national ideal. “A
national ideal is a set of ideas that give meaning to the life of a certain nation and lead it towards a
noble goal. It embodies the past, present and future of the nation, expresses its fundamental interests
and goals. The national ideal, by its very nature, also reflects the tasks and goals that concern the
fate of the people and the nation and that need to be solved in the short or long term”. “A national
ideal is a set of ideas that give meaning to the life of a certain nation and lead it towards a noble

goal”. In this regard, the valuable thoughts of our first President Islam Karimov are especially
relevant: “The centuries-old history of mankind shows that every nation in this world that has
decided to build its own national state considers the national idea, which is an expression of a
common, single goal and aspiration, as a support and support for achieving lofty goals, uniting and
mobilizing people on this path, instilling confidence in their hearts, and finding strength and support
in the transition from the old social system to a new one.
"When we think of a national idea, it means something that has been passed down from ancestors to
generations and has become a spiritual need and a requirement of life. If we imagine, so to speak,
the noblest dreams, aspirations and hopes of any nation, I think we will have expressed the essence
of such a broad concept".

goals." Indeed, in the history of the formation of our national idea, there has been a period when it is

soul and heart of all knowledge, the beginning of all science".
At this point in our thought, it should be added that the main idea, which plays an important role in
the formation of our national idea in literary literature, is not illuminated through the lives of
positive and negative heroes, or complex characters, but the historical events that form the basis for
this idea are further illuminated through the product of creative artistic thought. The work may be
created on the basis of historical and modern life, even fictional fiction. No matter how impressively
the writer expresses the artistic idea, he should not sharply deviate from the realities of life.
The great writer Abdullah Qahhor said, "To write a literary work, talent is undoubtedly needed. But
to copy what is written and leave only the necessary words for the reader, talent alone is not enough;
honesty is also needed".

the national idea.

are works that, despite the passage of time, do not lose their fans and, most importantly, their artistic
significance.
Our ancestors left us a spiritual heritage - a literary work with a high artistic ideal - as an invaluable
treasure, along with a rich historical and cultural heritage that we can be proud of.
It is no coincidence that Fran Lebovitz's views, "Think before you speak, read before you think", are
also slowly taking hold.
It is worth mentioning with pride and dignity that we have a great history. We have a national ideal,
literature, and spiritual heritage that are worthy of the admiration of all humanity.
The great, sacred task and honorable duty that lies before us is to preserve, develop, and pass on this
great heritage to future generations.
In the words of our country's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, "We have a great history that is worthy
of admiration. We have great ancestors that are worthy of admiration. We have incomparable wealth
that is worthy of admiration, and I believe that, if we are lucky, we will certainly have a great future
that is worthy of admiration, great literature and art". Indeed, we must contribute to the formation of
our national idea from this great heritage - fiction - and to its being a source of inspiration for
generations. After all, under any art lies science.
In short, fiction educates a well-rounded generation. And a well-rounded generation shapes an
enduring national ideal.
