PARENTS' COMMUNICATION CULTURE AND ITS INFLUENCE ON THE
WRITTEN SPEECH OF CHILDREN
Mamadjanova Gulnorahon Solidjonovna
Tutor of Fergana Technical University
Annotation:
This article analyzes scientifically, theoretically and practically
how the communication culture of parents — that is, the language, tone and content
in which they communicate with their children — affects the formation and
development of the child's written speech. It shows how the child's speech activity, in
particular written speech, is formed through the emotional approach of the parents,
the level of literacy, the oral tasks given to the child and written communication. It
also highlights how the positive or negative communication environment in the
family affects the child's language culture and literacy. This topic is also important
from the point of view of assessing the pedagogical potential of the family in
developing the language of primary school students.
Keywords:
parents, communication culture, written speech, child speech,
family upbringing, language environment, literacy, primary education, speech
development, oral and written communication.
The primary education stage is the most important period during which the
child's basic thinking and language skills are formed. At this stage, not only school
lessons, but also the communication environment in the family plays a major role in
the child's speech development. In particular, how parents talk to the child, what
phrases and intonations they use, and their attention to listening and understanding
directly affect the child's development not only of oral but also of written speech. The
communication culture of parents is an important pedagogical tool that supports the
child's ability to think and express themselves, not only within the framework of
etiquette.
Communication in human society is one of the most important social
phenomena, forming the basis of the process of information exchange, understanding,
and joint action between people. Any communication culture implies the observance
of moral, cultural, and communicative criteria in relationships between individuals.
Today, the culture of communication is of great importance for creating a healthy
environment in society, organizing the educational process in a high-quality way, as
well as for maintaining the right path in family and social relations. This topic will
cover the essence of the concept of culture of communication, its components and its
importance in practical life.

Culture of communication is a person's ability to express his or her opinion and
listen to others, adhering to cultural, moral and aesthetic norms, in the process of
exchanging ideas in oral or written form. This concept includes aspects such as
speech culture, moral norms, language etiquette and emotional management in
communication. Culture of communication is an important social factor that ensures
social stability, professional success, internal harmony in the family and the
effectiveness of the educational process. Especially in the upbringing of the younger
generation, a high culture of communication of parents, teachers and representatives
of society has a great impact on the child's mental health and speech development.
Communication culture is an integral part of personal development, social
relations and the cultural environment, which is manifested in a person's culture of
giving and receiving information, respect, patience and attention to language culture.
The formation of a communication culture is an important task of every citizen,
especially parents and educators. Therefore, the development of this culture is a
guarantee of the development of society, harmony and mutual respect between
people. Communication culture is a combination of etiquette, culture, social status
and language style in the process of communication between people through
language.
Communication between parents and children is important in the development
of a child throughout his life, especially in language development. Language is a
means of expressing a person's thoughts and is the main tool for a child to
communicate with the environment. The appeals of parents to the child, the choice of
words, tone and style of communication have a direct impact on the formation of the
child's speech skills. Therefore, the culture and quality of parental communication
play a major role in the development of a child's language. This topic is aimed at
analyzing the complex relationship between parental communication and the child's
language development.
The words parents say to the child and the conversations they have with them
shape the child's vocabulary, pronunciation, and speech structure. In families with
positive and frequent communication, children acquire language skills faster and
more fully. Parents with a high speech culture teach their children to express
themselves correctly and clearly. They patiently answer children's questions, correct
incorrect pronunciation, and enrich them with new words. Parents' attention to the
child's speech, the speed and regularity of communication with them are important
factors in the child's language development. More support and encouragement in
conversations have a positive effect on the child's self-expression. Parental kindness,
patience, and positive emotional influence help shape a child's speech. Stress and
conflict can negatively affect language development. Parental communication is a
crucial factor in a child's language development. Speech culture, quality of

communication, and emotional environment play an important role in shaping a
child's speech skills. Therefore, parents need to develop correct, effective, and loving
communication to support language development and develop their child's speech.
This serves the child's personal and social development. Scientific research shows
that children who have active, rich conversations with their parents develop
grammatically correct and logically consistent written speech. On the contrary, in
families with limited, strict, and commanding communication, children's expression
of ideas is weakened.
Communication is an integral part of human life, and its quality and richness,
especially in the family environment, directly affect the social, emotional and
intellectual development of the individual. Effective and meaningful communication
between family members at home is important for the formation of children's speech
culture and language skills. Therefore, how to enrich and develop communication at
home is considered a pressing issue in modern pedagogy and psychology.
Family members should have regular conversations every day. These
conversations can consist of simple daily routines, events, and feelings. Talking more
with the child helps him express his thoughts freely. Reading books, telling fairy
tales, and stories with children at home are effective ways to enrich communication.
This increases vocabulary and expands imagination. Asking open-ended questions to
the child (for example, “What did you like at school today?”) and listening carefully
to their opinions enlivens the communication process and develops the child's
thinking skills. Communication in the family based on respect, love, patience and
understanding helps the child feel free and comfortable, which is important for the
development of speech. The formation of language and speech skills through games
is an effective way to learn new words and make it easier to express one's thoughts.
Enriching communication at home is a key factor that contributes to the child's
language, thinking and emotional development. Regular, meaningful and sincere
conversations between family members, reading, questioning, games and a positive
emotional environment help to increase the child's speech culture. Therefore, parents
and loved ones should pay constant attention to the development of communication.
Observation based on experience is one of the methods widely used in scientific
research and practical activities. It allows you to directly observe the phenomenon,
process or behavior being studied in real conditions and collect data. This method,
which does not require the active participation of the researcher, is important for
obtaining objective and accurate information. In research, education, psychology, and
many other fields, analysis and conclusions are drawn based on the results of
observation. Observation is the careful, purposeful, and systematic observation and
recording of an event or phenomenon. In experimental observation, theoretical
knowledge is applied to practice and the expected results are observed.

Experimental observation is an effective method widely used in scientific
research and practical activities, with which real situations are studied in a clear and
systematic manner. This method increases the reliability of research results and helps
in finding solutions to practical problems. Therefore, the correct organization of the
observation process and the correct analysis of data are important in scientific
research. The communication culture of parents is an important factor in the
formation of a child's written speech. Conducting cultured, expressive, and
meaningful conversations in the family has a positive effect on the child's speech,
intellectual, and written activities. Therefore, it is necessary to develop special
recommendations for parents, strengthen school-family cooperation, and increase
educational work on the role of the family in a child's language development.
