Introduction

The preschool education system plays an important role in educating the future generation in

every society. Educators working in this system, namely preschool educators, are directly

involved not only in teaching scientific knowledge, but also in the personal and social

development of children. Therefore, the formation of professional competence of preschool

educators is one of the most urgent issues of modern education systems.

Today, changes and innovations taking place in the education system place high demands on the

professional activities of educators. In particular, it is necessary to introduce new pedagogical

approaches, technologies and methods in the formation of the competence of preschool educators.

Through innovative pedagogical approaches, opportunities are being created to improve the

quality of education, develop independent thinking of students, and increase the professional

competence of educators based on modern requirements. In addition, the competence of teachers

in preschool education should be based not only on pedagogical knowledge, but also on social

and emotional skills, allowing them to effectively communicate with children, understand their

needs and implement a pedagogical approach that is appropriate for them. Innovative

pedagogical methods, including the use of modern technologies, interactive teaching methods

and personalized teaching approaches, play a major role in increasing the professional

competence of preschool teachers. The importance of innovative approaches in the formation of

professional competence of preschool teachers and the issues of their effective implementation

are studied. The main purpose of the study is to analyze the effectiveness of the use of innovative

methods in increasing the professional competence of preschool teachers and to consider the

possibilities of their practical implementation.

Preschool education is an important stage in the development of children, laying the foundation

for their intellectual, emotional, social and physical development. In the educational process,

teachers use various pedagogical methods in their work, taking into account the individual

characteristics of children, trying to create the most effective learning conditions for them.

However, global changes taking place in the world education system require the introduction of

new pedagogical technologies and methods. Therefore, the use of innovative approaches in

preschool education is of great importance, which allows teachers to improve their professional

competence, organize the educational process effectively and interestingly.

Innovative approaches are a set of approaches based on the implementation of innovations in

education, the use of modern technologies and the renewal of pedagogical methods. These

approaches are necessary tools for improving teaching methods, improving the quality of

education and developing the professional skills of teachers. At the same time, innovative

pedagogical methods allow teachers to acquire new knowledge and skills, as well as develop

effective methods of teaching children.

This article aims to study the role of innovative approaches in preschool education in the

development of professional competence of teachers, their impact on the quality of education,

and how they are successfully used in pedagogical processes. Through this, the practical

experience of teachers in using innovative approaches and the possibilities of increasing the

effectiveness of the educational process for children are analyzed.

Literature Review

Scientists who have studied pedagogical innovations (Tobolcev, 2015; Gurevich, 2019) have

shown the role of innovative methods in improving the quality of education in preschool

education. In their opinion, innovative pedagogical approaches allow updating and improving the

teaching process, which serves to make the learning process of children effective and interesting.

Gurevich (2019) in his research analyzed the impact of innovative methods on the professional

development of teachers and noted that these methods help improve the pedagogical activity of

teachers[1].

There are several studies examining the importance of using innovative approaches and methods

in developing teachers' professional competence. Anderson and Henley (2017) talk about the

possibilities of developing teachers' professional skills through the use of innovative methods. In

their opinion, the study and use of new pedagogical technologies encourages teachers not only to

update their professional knowledge, but also to learn new methods. This, in turn, increases the

skills of teachers and creates the opportunity to successfully apply new methods in the

educational process[2].

The benefits of pedagogical innovations and new methods for children have also been discussed

in many studies. Noguera (2020) analyzed the effectiveness of approaches aimed at developing

students' creative and critical thinking skills in studying the importance of innovative educational

methods for children. In his opinion, new pedagogical technologies play an important role in

increasing children's ability to learn using innovative methods. They encourage children to

participate more actively, increase interest and motivation in the educational process[3].

Discussion

The results of the study show that there are both difficulties and opportunities in the process of

developing innovative approaches in preschool education and the professional competence of

teachers. Although the use of innovative pedagogical methods and technologies is certainly of

great importance in improving the quality of education of teachers, there is also a need to solve a

number of problems in this process.

1. Difficulties in using innovative methods

Most of the teachers who participated in the study noted that they encountered some difficulties

in using new methods. These include the difficulties for teachers to learn and use new

technologies effectively, the difficulties in adapting to methodological changes, and the problems

of some students in fully adapting to new pedagogical methods. Implementing innovative

methods into practice can be difficult, especially for inexperienced teachers, as these methods

often require a high level of creativity and special skills.

important directions for improving the quality of the education system in each country. The

professional competence of teachers includes not only their knowledge and skills, but also

methods of teaching students, pedagogical approaches. Thus, it is necessary to introduce

innovative approaches, methodologies and technologies in the process of forming the

professional competence of preschool teachers. Modern pedagogical approaches, in particular,

interactive methods, digital technologies and personalized learning, play a major role in

improving the professional qualifications of teachers. Approaches aimed at the personal

development, social and emotional growth of children in preschool education create many

opportunities for regular updating of teachers and the introduction of modern pedagogical

methods to them. This, in turn, serves to improve the quality of education and has a significant

impact on the academic and social success of children.

The results of the research show that the successful use of innovative methods in the process of

forming the professional competence of teachers creates new opportunities for teachers. By using

digital technologies and online learning platforms, teachers can further improve their skills. This,

in turn, makes the pedagogical process more effective, allows for a more comfortable and

productive learning environment for children. Preschool teachers are in close contact with their

students and have the opportunity to individually organize the educational process, taking into

account their social, emotional and cognitive needs. At the same time, innovative approaches

increase not only the professional knowledge of teachers, but also their social and emotional

skills. By studying methodological approaches and modern pedagogical technologies in

improving the professional skills of teachers, their opportunities for adapting to changing

conditions expand. Innovations allow teachers to constantly acquire new knowledge and skills,

which in turn increases the quality of education. International experience shows that international

cooperation, exchange of experience and the introduction of practices are important in forming

the competence of preschool teachers. International experiences and innovative pedagogical

methods help to improve the professional skills of teachers, introduce new pedagogical

approaches and are of particular importance in making the education system more effective. As a

result, the role of innovative approaches in the formation of professional competence of

preschool educators is of great importance. The introduction of innovations into the education

system is an effective means of ensuring the professional growth of educators and providing

quality education to students. Also, the process of continuous professional development of

educators helps the education system adapt to global requirements and expands children's

educational opportunities. In conclusion, the importance of innovative approaches in the

formation of professional competence of preschool educators plays a major role not only in

improving the skills of educators, but also in improving the quality of education on a global scale.

The successful implementation of these innovations ensures that education systems become more

effective and responsive to modern needs. The study showed that innovative approaches in

preschool education play an important role in developing the professional competence of

teachers. The use of innovative pedagogical methods and technologies not only improves the

quality of education, but also helps to update the qualifications of teachers and effectively

organize their pedagogical activities. Introducing teachers to innovative methods and new

technologies, improving their knowledge and skills, allows them to work more effectively in the

educational process. Innovative pedagogical methods, such as project-based learning, interactive

technologies, game methodology and individual approaches, affect the increase in the

professional competence of teachers and the social, emotional and creative development of

children. These methods increase students' interest in education, motivate them to learn new

knowledge and encourage them to take an active part in it.
