Annotation:
This article highlights the importance of using innovative technologies in the
teaching of the native language, their effective implementation, and their role in developing
students' speech activity. Through innovative approaches, students’ interest in the subject
increases, and the quality of education improves.
Keywords:
native language, innovative technologies, educational process, interactive methods,
information and communication technologies (ICT), competence.
Introduction
The modern education system is undergoing globalization, digital transformation, and
continuous improvement. In this process, the teaching of the native language must also be
updated according to contemporary demands. Along with traditional methods, the integration of
innovative technologies into the educational process helps students develop independent thinking,
analytical skills, and communication abilities.
Main Part
1. The Role of Innovative Technologies in Education
Innovative technologies are methods and tools based on novelty that aim to improve efficiency.
In the native language subject, these technologies are applied through:
Visualizing lessons using multimedia presentations;
Engaging discussions with interactive whiteboards;
Solving tasks and tests via online platforms;
Reinforcing vocabulary knowledge through electronic dictionaries and platforms like
Quizlet, Wordwall, and Kahoot.
Integration of Innovative Technologies in Native Language Teaching
1. Interactive Lessons
Interactive lessons provide new knowledge using modern presentation tools and video materials
that enhance the learning process.

2. Educational Platforms
Online platforms such as edX and Coursera offer language learning courses that allow students
to study the subject at their own pace.
3. Mobile Applications
Language-learning mobile apps such as Duolingo or Babbel help students reinforce their
knowledge through game-based learning, making the process more engaging.
How to Apply Innovative Technologies Effectively
While preparing lesson plans, it's essential to incorporate innovative technologies.
Choosing topics that interest students and matching them with suitable technologies increases
lesson effectiveness.
Encourage active student participation through discussions, group work, and interactive
games.
Use technology to assess outcomes — for example, online tests and surveys can help
evaluate students' knowledge levels.
2. Interactive Methods in Native Language Teaching
Using interactive methods alongside innovative technologies makes the learning process more
engaging. For example:
"Brainstorming" to Develop Thinking
One of the main goals in modern education is to teach students to think independently.
“Brainstorming” is a powerful method that encourages students to think quickly and express
their ideas freely on a given topic. It plays a vital role in organizing interactive and student-
centered native language lessons.
"Clustering" for Text Analysis
The cluster method helps structure ideas visually based on a text, identify key concepts, and
analyze them. This method develops students’ critical and logical thinking and fosters an active
approach to text analysis. A cluster is built around a central concept, branching out to related
ideas, concepts, events, or conclusions.
"Role-Playing" for Developing Speaking Skills
Role-playing is an interactive method where students assume specific roles based on real-life
scenarios, literary characters, or debates to improve their speech skills. They act out situations
based on a script, engage in Q&A, solve problems, participate in discussions, and strive for
expressive speaking. This method not only teaches theoretical knowledge but also equips
students with practical communication skills, helping them build confidence and fluency.

These methods ensure active student participation and make language learning more interesting.
Using ICT in native language lessons positively changes students’ attitude towards learning. For
example:
Using Google Forms for post-lesson reflection;
Collaborative idea exchange via Jamboard or Padlet;
Independent learning through YouTube educational videos.
This transforms the student from a passive knowledge recipient into an active knowledge creator.
Conclusion
Integrating innovative technologies into the native language teaching process is a necessity of the
time. It not only improves the quality of knowledge but also enhances students’ functional
literacy, information-handling skills, and creative thinking. Teachers’ mastery of modern
technologies is a key factor in ensuring the effectiveness of education. Integration of innovative
technologies boosts both learning outcomes and students’ interest in the subject. Modern
pedagogical approaches help make the learning process dynamic and engaging. For successful
implementation, teachers need to learn and apply new technologies effectively.
