Abstract

This article analyzes the role and importance of mnemonic techniques in developing the cognitive activity of preschool children. Mnemonics are methods used to improve the processes of memorization, learning, and information processing, and they are an effective tool for developing children's minds. Mnemonic techniques adapted for preschool children, such as visual aids, storytelling, repetition, and other memory methods, help enhance cognitive processes. Through these methods, children increase their mental activity and strengthen their learning abilities. Mnemonics help children develop skills such as memorization, imagination, attention, and self-regulation, and they also learn to retain the information they have learned in long-term memory. The article also provides information on the practical application of mnemonic methods, their impact on children's psychology, and how to apply mnemonics effectively to organize cognitive activity.

INTRODUCTION
One of the most important aspects of the cognitive development of preschool children is the

effective formation of their consciousness and mental activity. Various educational methods and

tools, including mnemonic techniques, are of particular importance in supporting this process.

Mnemonics is a set of special methods used to improve the processes of memorizing, learning

and processing information. Mnemonics in the development of children's consciousness can be

especially effective in strengthening cognitive processes such as memorization and imagination.
Mnemonics methods adapted for preschool children, such as drawing, reading stories, games that

facilitate repetition and assimilation, accelerate cognitive development. These tools greatly help

children in increasing their concentration, memory and learning abilities. The correct and

effective use of mnemonic techniques has a positive effect on the psyche of children and

develops their cognitive activity. This article analyzes the role and importance of mnemonics in

children's education and attempts to show its effectiveness in the development of cognitive

activity.
LITERATURE ANALYSIS AND METHODOLOGY
A review of the scientific literature on the role of mnemonics in the development of children's

cognitive activity shows that there are several scientific studies confirming the effectiveness of

mnemonic techniques. A number of studies on the study and application of mnemonics show its

importance and impact in children's education. The most common types of mnemonic techniques

- repetition, visual and memorization techniques, stories and drawing - can be effective in

developing children's minds. These techniques help strengthen children's attention, memory and

imagination. Mnemonics also help children easily remember, process and store information in

long-term memory.
In addition, there are several works by psychologists and educationalists on the impact of

mnemonics on cognitive development. Mnemonics are recommended, especially for children, as

a means of facilitating the process of memorization. Psychological studies show that mnemonics

have a positive effect on children's cognitive processes and can activate their learning activity.
From a methodological point of view, there are various approaches to the use of mnemonic

techniques in children's education. First, methods for measuring the effectiveness of mnemonics

for children have been developed on the basis of experience. Experiments, questionnaires, and

observation methods are used to analyze the learning process and collect results. Psychological

tests and methods are used to measure the effect of mnemonics, in particular, to determine the

level of attention and memory of children. With the help of such approaches, it is possible to

obtain accurate information about the effect of mnemonic techniques on children's cognitive

activity.
From a methodological point of view, the use of mnemonics in children's education is mainly

aimed at ensuring the comprehensive development of children's activities in the learning process.

Also, the effective use of mnemonics ensures the balanced development of the child's psyche and

helps to improve their cognitive abilities.
This methodology and literature analysis sheds light on the studied importance of mnemonics in

children's education, its impact and how it can be effectively used in the learning process.

CONCLUSION
It has become clear that the role and importance of mnemonics in the development of cognitive

activity of preschool children is high. According to the results of research, mnemonic techniques

are an effective tool for strengthening children's memory, memorization, imagination,

concentration, and memory skills. These methods accelerate the learning process of children and

increase their ability to store learned information in long-term memory.
The positive effect of mnemonic methods on the psyche of children helps to actively and

effectively develop their cognitive processes. Also, the use of mnemonics for children facilitates

the learning process and ensures greater activity in education.
In addition, for the effective use of mnemonics, it is necessary to take into account the individual

characteristics and interests of children. Therefore, when choosing mnemonic methods, it is

important to adapt them to the age and level of cognitive development of children.
In general, the widespread use of mnemonics in preschool education helps to effectively ensure

the cognitive development of children. With the help of these methods, children can facilitate

learning, improve memory and attention, as well as develop their creative and mental activity..
