INTRODUCTION
In the modern education system, special attention is paid to the professional competence of
future teachers. A teacher is considered not only a provider of knowledge, but also a person who
develops students' thinking skills, teaches them to think independently, and has an analytical
approach. Therefore, the cognitive methodological competence of future teachers, that is,
effective management of the educational process, taking into account the individual
characteristics of students, selection of pedagogical methods and systematic planning of
pedagogical activities, is of great importance.
Cognitive methodological competence develops the teacher's ability to apply his knowledge and
experience in practice in the pedagogical process based on the methodological approaches he has
created. This competence helps future teachers not only in imparting knowledge to students, but
also in shaping their minds, developing critical and creative thinking. Therefore, the formation of
cognitive methodological competence of future teachers allows them to increase the
effectiveness of the educational process, and successfully adapt to changes in the education
system.
METHOD AND METHODOLOGY
The topic of cognitive methodological competence of future teachers plays an important role in
developing the theoretical and practical skills of teachers in the educational process, as well as

students' thinking skills, independent thinking and form a systematic approach.
Cognitive competence is the teacher's ability to learn and analyze the acquired knowledge, to
study carefully, to collect and analyze information. Cognitive competence of teachers helps to
manage the learning process of students, to motivate students to learn more actively and
consciously.
Methodological competence refers to the knowledge and skills of the teacher in the correct
selection and application of pedagogical approaches and methods in the educational process.
This competence helps teachers to take into account the individual needs of students, to use
modern pedagogical methods and to activate students in learning.
In the modern education system, the cognitive methodological competence of future teachers is
an important basis for their effective functioning in the educational process. Teachers are
responsible not only for imparting knowledge to students, but also for developing in them skills
such as critical thinking, logical analysis, and problem solving. To do this, the methodological
competence of the teacher should include modern pedagogical approaches and methods.
Systematic and innovative thinking: the use of systematic and new approaches in the selection of
pedagogical methods.
Taking into account the individual needs of students: choosing a pedagogical approach that is
appropriate for each student's learning style and needs.
Using interactive methods in the educational process: implementing interactive, practicum, and
active learning methods to increase student engagement.
Pedagogical practice: training future teachers to use methods through practical exercises and
exchange of experience.
Seminars and trainings: teaching theoretical knowledge, analyzing methodological approaches.
Case analysis: analyzing pedagogical situations and looking for ways to solve problems.
Innovative technologies: using modern pedagogical technologies, such as multimedia and online
learning tools.
Cognitive methodological competence of future teachers in ensuring their successful work in
educationis one of the main factors. This competence is necessary for the teacher to effectively
manage the educational process, teach students independent thinking and apply modern teaching
methods. Also, the formation of cognitive methodological competence makes a significant
contribution to improving the quality of the education system and the professional development
of future teachers.

of future teachers and its role in the educational process. During the study, the effectiveness of
using a number of methodological approaches and pedagogical technologies in the formation of
cognitive methodological competence of teachers was studied.
Formation of cognitive competence: The results of the study showed that the use of interactive
and practical methods of education, such as training sessions, seminars and case studies, gives
effective results in preparing future teachers for cognitive methodological competence. These
methods help to develop the ability to think systematically and creatively in teachers.
Selection and application of pedagogical methods: The study emphasized the importance of
applying an individual approach to the selection and application of pedagogical methods in
training teachers in methodological competence. Since the needs and learning styles of each
student are different, teachers need to use special pedagogical approaches in selecting methods,
taking into account the different needs of students.
Innovative pedagogical technologies: The effectiveness of using modern technologies in
developing the cognitive methodological competence of future teachers was confirmed. The
introduction of multimedia tools, online learning platforms, and interactive teaching materials
into the learning process increases the active participation of students and develops their ability
to think independently.
The role of the teacher in adopting innovative approaches: The study found that the teacher's
readiness to use innovative pedagogical methods is associated with a high level of his cognitive
methodological competence. The readiness of teachers to use modern methods is one of the main
conditions for providing quality education to students.
Taking into account the individual needs of students: The results of the study showed that in the
formation of cognitive methodological competence of future teachers, it is important to identify
the individual needs of students and use a personal approach in working with them. This, in turn,
leads to an increase in the educational success of students.
According to the results of the study, the cognitive methodological competence of future
teachers is an important factor for their effective functioning in the educational process. This
competence allows teachers to develop students' thinking skills, effectively convey knowledge,
and achieve higher results in the choice of pedagogical methods. The importance of using
modern pedagogical methods and innovative technologies in the formation of cognitive
methodological competence is shown, which greatly contributes to increasing the efficiency of
the education system.
