Abstract

 In the 19th century, musical art was enriched with new aesthetic and emotional expressions. During the Romantic period, one of the main tasks of music was to reflect the inner world and mental states of a person. This article analyzes the role of emotional expression and emotional research in 19th-century music, especially the formation of Romanticism and new approaches to music. Music provided new opportunities for expressing not only external phenomena, but also internal, ambiguous experiences, such as love, sadness, and joy.

Abstract:

In the 19th century, musical art was enriched with new aesthetic and emotional

expressions. During the Romantic period, one of the main tasks of music was to reflect the inner

world and mental states of a person. This article analyzes the role of emotional expression and

emotional research in 19th-century music, especially the formation of Romanticism and new

approaches to music. Music provided new opportunities for expressing not only external

phenomena, but also internal, ambiguous experiences, such as love, sadness, and joy.
