Halima Ahmedova – o‘zbek adabiyotining zamonaviy va noyob ovoziga ega
bo‘lgan mualliflaridan biri. Uning asarlarida ijtimoiy va psixologik masalalar chuqur yoritilgan
bo‘lib, ular orasida gender masalalari ham alohida o‘rin tutadi. Halima Ahmedova asarlarida
gender, ya'ni erkak va ayol orasidagi rollar, munosabatlar va ijtimoiy statuslar tahlil qilinadi.
Ushbu maqolada yozuvchining asarlarida gender xususiyatlarining qanday qo‘llanilishi va
ularning muallifning badiiy va ijtimoiy maqsadlariga qanday xizmat qilishi tahlil qilinadi.

: Халима Ахмедова – одна из авторов узбекской литературы, обладающая
современным и неповторимым голосом. В его произведениях глубоко освещаются
социальные и психологические проблемы, среди которых особое место занимают
гендерные вопросы. В работах Халимы Ахмедовой анализируется гендер, то есть роли,
отношения и социальный статус между мужчинами и женщинами. В данной статье
анализируется, как гендерные характеристики используются в творчестве писателя и как
они служат художественным и социальным целям автора.

Abstract :
Halima Ahmedova is one of the authors of Uzbek literature with a modern and
unique voice. Her works deeply cover social and psychological issues, among which gender
issues occupy a special place. Halima Ahmedova's works analyze gender, that is, the roles,
relationships, and social statuses between men and women. This article analyzes how gender
characteristics are used in the writer's works and how they serve the author's artistic and social
goals.

INTRODUCTION
Halima Ahmedova is a writer who, in her poetry and prose, has deeply and sensitively covered
gender issues. Her works reflect the roles of women and men, their place in society, and their
emotional states in many ways. Halima Ahmedova describes gender characteristics not only in a
social and cultural context, but also in a unique poetic approach, at the same time comparing
female and male characters and exploring their differences and similarities.

In Halima Ahmedova's works, female images are often expressed through the inner world,
emotions and psychological states. The social role of a woman, her happiness, suffering and life
experiences occupy a prominent place in her poems. The poet's poems highlight the beauty and
strength of a woman, her weakness and struggle, as well as her role in social and family
relationships. She sincerely describes the inner world of women, their thoughts and feelings, and
shows gender issues from the perspective of modern values.
Male characters are more distinguished by their social role in the outside world and their place in
society. In Halima Ahmedova's works, men are depicted as more active, responsive, and
purposeful characters. Also, in showing the difference between male and female characters, the
writer often explores the theme of gender through intense social and psychological
contradictions.
LITERATURE ANALYSIS AND METHODOLOGY.
The study covers historical methods based on the principles of historicity, scientificity,
comparative-logical analysis, sequence, and objectivity.
ANALYSIS AND RESULTS
The use of gender characteristics in Halima Ahmedova's works not only shows the traditional
differences between women and men, but also explores gender changes and their new places in
society. In her poetry and prose, she portrays women and men as equal but different characters,
with their own worldviews, feelings, and dreams.
At the same time, Halima Ahmedova's style of highlighting gender characteristics, deeply
understanding the relationships between women and men and their roles in society, offers the
reader a new perspective. Her works also provide sharp and meaningful thoughts from the
perspective of gender equality and human rights. [1]
The analysis of gender issues in literature has been going on for centuries. The differences and
social roles between men and women are often addressed in literature from a social analytical,
and sometimes philosophical or psychological perspective. Gender representations in literature
serve not only to reflect social stereotypes, but also to disrupt, shape, and renew them.
Are expressed in a very clear and complex way, especially through female images. In her works,
the writer deeply explores gender issues by showing the role of men and women in society, their
social and psychological problems. In her works, gender stereotypes, the social role and values
of women are constantly questioned.
In the works of Halima Ahmedova, the images of women are especially original and perfectly
depicted. The writer does not only show a woman in the traditional image of a homemaker, a
loving mother , but also portrays her as a person who is on the path of understanding her inner
world, fighting for her rights, and finding herself. Through this, the author describes the place of
a woman in society and the difficulties she faces on the way to self-realization.
Halima Ahmedova's works reflect deeply on the social roles of women and their place in society.
For example, in the novel "Red Flower", the author not only depicts women in traditional roles -
mother, wife, loving friend - but also describes their internal contradictions, feelings in the
struggle for self-realization. Through these images, Halima Ahmedova questions the restrictions
and stereotypesimposed on women in society and shows the activism, freedom and independence
of women. [2]
The most important aspect of the writer's female characters is the internal conflicts they face in
the process of self-realization. A woman is forced to make sharp choices between her family

obligations and personal desires . In these works, a woman sometimes seeks her personal
freedom by challenging the norms established by society. Halima Ahmedova deeply analyzes the
mental state of a woman, her every decision from a psychological perspective, which makes her
female characters even more realistic and problematic.
In Halima Ahmedova's works, male characters are mainly depicted in situations that challenge
the patriarchal structure of society and the social position of men. Male characters are often
considered to be dominant over others, strong and solid. However, Halima Ahmedova also
creates psychologically complex and sometimes ambiguous images of men . Their inner
experiences, struggles with themselves, and difficulties in finding their place in modern society
are shown. [3]
In the images of men, the author often tries to show human weaknesses and emotions. Therefore,
Halima Ahmedova's male characters are often characters who struggle with their own internal
contradictions and conflicts arising from their experiences, rather than being superior or stronger
than women. For example, some of the male characters in "Changes" feel uncomfortable and
weak, while some of them see women as more free and stronger.
Gender roles and their distribution in society are also important in Halima Ahmedova's works. In
creating her works, the writer also shows the traditional social roles between men and women in
society, but does not limit herself to just describing them, but emphasizes the need to change and
revise these roles. [4]
Halima Ahmedova's works attempt to subvert the expected and traditional portrayal of gender
roles in depicting the relationships between men and women and their interactions in society.
Typically, men are portrayed in society as strong, resilient, and leaders, while women are
portrayed as homemakers, caregivers, and support. However, Halima Ahmedova's works portray
women as individuals striving for their rights, independence, and equality, striving for self-
realization. [5]
Halima Ahmedova, especially in her work “Feelings and Hatred”, shows the transformation of
gender roles in modern society. Women no longer build their lives solely on the basis of family
and social requirements, but also strive to gain their independence. On the other hand, men also
understand the need to reconsider their place in society and discover new, human qualities.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the use of gender features in Halima Ahmedova's works is an important and
valuable artistic tool. Through her female and male characters, the writer questions and renews
gender roles, values, and stereotypes in society. In her works, female characters are more often
depicted as individuals striving to find their rights and realize themselves. Men, on the other
hand, feel their internal conflicts and difficulties in adapting to changes in modern society.
Halima Ahmedova illuminates the issue of gender in her works not only from a social
perspective, but also from a psychological and philosophical perspective. Through this, she
encourages her readers to consider issues of gender equality and legal freedom, to form new
concepts.
