Annotation:
This article analyzes the role of transport services and logistics services in the
development of the economy, their mutual integration, digitalization, and ensuring
competitiveness in the international market. Also, the current state and promising directions for
the development of logistics infrastructure in Uzbekistan are considered.
Keywords:

international integration
Introduction
In the context of globalization and economic integration, the role of transport services and
logistics services is significantly increasing. Today, the entire process from the production of
products to their delivery to the consumer is unthinkable without an effective logistics system.
Main part
Transport service and its economic significance
Transport service is not limited to the transportation of goods and passengers, but is the most
important link in the logistics chain. Efficient transport services increase the speed of product
turnover in the production, trade and service sectors, reduce costs and enhance competitiveness.
Logistics services and their modern trends
In addition to transportation, logistics services include:
Warehouse services
Sorting and packaging of cargo
Customs clearance
Information and logistics monitoring
In recent years, as a result of the introduction of digital technologies, the concept of digital
logistics has become widely used. Artificial intelligence, IoT (Internet of Things), GPS
monitoring, and blockchain technologies are taking logistics systems to a new level.
Development of logistics infrastructure in Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan is one of the countries with transit potential in terms of its geographical location. The
“Europe-China” freight corridors, cooperation within the framework of the “Belt and Road”
initiative, and projects such as “Tashkent-Andijan-Osh-Irkesh-Tom” are increasing logistics

capabilities.
Nevertheless, there are the following problems:
Insufficient number of logistics centers
Outdated transport infrastructure in some regions
Slow development of digital management systems
International experience and suggestions
Countries such as China, Germany, and South Korea are developing the logistics sector as an
economic strategy. It is advisable to take the following measures in Uzbekistan:
Development of logistics centers based on modern technologies
Management of transport services through electronic platforms
Expanding cooperation with international logistics companies

Basic principles of transport services
Transport service is considered not only as a delivery of cargo or passengers from one
destination to another, but as a system of providing customer service within the entire logistics
chain. Its main principles are as follows:
Efficiency - optimization of time, costs and resources.
Flexibility - adaptation to different markets and diversification of services.
Integration - seamless connection with other logistics functions.

Digital technologies are rapidly entering logistics processes. IoT (Internet of Things), GPS
tracking systems, "smart" warehouses and automated management are increasing the efficiency
of logistics systems. At the same time, electronic customs, blockchain-based tracking systems
are also being introduced.
Problems and opportunities in the context of Central Asia
Despite their strategic geographical location, Central Asian countries, including Uzbekistan, are
facing some infrastructural, institutional and logistics system problems. In particular:
Obsolete transport infrastructure.
Weakness of competitive market mechanisms.
Lack of logistics services that meet international standards.
At the same time, there are positive opportunities, such as the development of China-Europe
transport corridors and the introduction of the “Single Customs Window” system.
