Among 150 enrolled children, 60 (40%) were confirmed H. pylori–positive. Antral colonization was detected in 95% of positives versus 70% in the corpus (p<0.01). Primary resistance rates were: clarithromycin 30%, metronidazole 40%, amoxicillin 5%, levofloxacin 10%, tetracycline 2%, with dual clarithromycin–metronidazole resistance in 15%. Susceptibility-guided therapy achieved >85% eradication in most groups; empirical regimens aligned with resistance prevalence also attained acceptable success (>80%) when clarithromycin was avoided in regions with >15% resistance. We recommend obtaining multiple antral biopsies plus at least one corpus biopsy for optimal detection and culture, routine susceptibility testing where feasible, and therapeutic algorithms that reflect local resistance data in accordance with recent pediatric guidelines. Ongoing surveillance and individualized therapy protocols are essential to maximize eradication rates and minimize antibiotic misuse.

STATE AND TRENDS OF INTERBANK COMPETITION IN THE BANKING MARKET OF UZBEKISTAN
The sustainable development of the banking sector is closely related to interbank competition. The subject of the study is the improvement of interbank competition, which serves to increase the quality standards of service provision, reduce costs and prices, expand the range of products, and cleanse the market of weak and unscrupulous participants. The purpose of the study is to develop recommendations for improving interbank competition to ensure the stability of the country's banking sector. The work used analytical methods such as analysis, synthesis, comparison, and graphical analysis. The theoretical aspects of the topic allowed the authors to formulate the concept of interbank competition. According to this concept, interbank competition is a competition between banks to attract and occupy attractive sources of resources, taking into account a customer-oriented approach. The practical analysis is based on statistical data from the Central Bank of Russia and reflects the uneven distribution of banks across the country, as well as the dominance of banks with state participation. The systematic and comprehensive approach of the study made it possible to identify the main trends of interbank competition: monopolization, centralization, concentration of capital, federalization and globalization. According to the authors, the increase in the assets of state-owned banks against the background of a sharp decrease in the number of banks is limiting interbank competition. Large state-owned banks dominate the deposit and credit markets in the country. The Herfindahl-Hirschman index adequately reflects the market importance of credit institutions. Foreign banks also affect competitiveness. The authors proposed a number of measures aimed at strengthening interbank competition: reducing the level of state participation by setting an acceptable level of state participation in the authorized capital of credit institutions; introducing equal "rules of the game" for all participants in the banking market and excluding state benefits; developing regional small and medium-sized banks through tax and financial incentives. The prospects for future research are focused on a detailed study of factors that negatively affect interbank competition.

COMPARATIVE THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE CONCEPTS OF SEMIOLOGY AND MYTHOLOGEMA: A STRUCTURALIST SYNTHESIS
This article explores the comparative theoretical foundations of semiology, as developed by Ferdinand de Saussure and extended by Roland Barthes, and the concept of the mythologema, primarily articulated by Claude Lévi-Strauss. We analyze the core tenets of Saussurean semiotics – the arbitrary nature of the sign, the relationality of meaning, and the distinction between “langue” and “parole” – and examine how Barthes applies these to decipher cultural systems. Lévi-Strauss's structuralist approach to myth, emphasizing the mythologema as a fundamental building block of meaning within narrative structures, is then analyzed. The article compares and contrasts these perspectives, highlighting their shared emphasis on underlying structures and systems of signification while acknowledging their methodological and analytical differences. We argue that while distinct, semiology and the concept of the mythologema offer complementary approaches to understanding cultural meaning, ultimately suggesting a synergistic potential for deeper interpretive analysis.

The emergence of multiple drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis has become a serious threat to the effectiveness of anti-tuberculosis programs in many countries of the world [ 1] . The growth of the HIV epidemic is also reflected in the situation with drug-resistant tuberculosis, which is also associated with impaired anti-tuberculosis immunity [4]. The high frequency of multiple drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis (resistance to the most effective anti-tuberculosis drugs isoniazid and rifampicin ) clearly and directly correlates with the prevalence of HIV infection [3]. Drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis is one of the main factors limiting the effectiveness of anti-tuberculosis therapy.
The prevalence of resistant forms of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in newly diagnosed patients with tuberculosis and HIV infection is higher than in patients with tuberculosis without HIV infection (2% versus 0.4%).
